How many tests have you taken?

I've yet to take one and from what I've seen I'm definitely in the minority! DH hasn't either. DD took one, last year, and it was negative (she had a bit of a sniffle/cough and the symptoms had gone by the time the test arrived in the post).

Foolintherain · 21/04/2021 17:16

thenightsky · 21/04/2021 17:16

Me - 0
DH - 0

Ostryga · 21/04/2021 17:17

LF - endless. PCR about 50ish

Riggsisadino · 21/04/2021 17:18

Not including lateral flow (work in hospital) 65+ which is unusual to ! I have a weakened immune system and mental health diffcuilties and have one every time I'm in hospital then every couple of days then. When I was in a mental health unit for 12 days I had one every day !

lurker101 · 21/04/2021 17:18

I’ve taken 2 PCR and about 5 LFTs.
Are you in England? If so you can order free LFTs to be delivered for home testing. The more people that do this the easier it will be to get on top of any asymptomatic spread as things open up

Heysiriyouknob · 21/04/2021 17:19

One before my section last year.
No one else in the family has had to have one.

Family of 4.
0x4 tests taken!

KateKeeper · 21/04/2021 17:22

Far too many. I have to do 2 a week for work.

SquigglePigs · 21/04/2021 17:23

Me and DH none yet. Toddler DD had one last week, fortunately negative but she'd been coughing her head off bless her.

nordica · 21/04/2021 17:23

One. Invited by the Zoe app (after having symptoms but not the typical covid symptoms) - negative result.

Have just received the LFT pack in the post last week and will start doing two a week as everyone is encouraged to do...

TweeterandtheMonkeyman · 21/04/2021 17:23

2 per week for work as well - it’s a right pain in the arse

Waxonwaxoff0 · 21/04/2021 17:23

I'm doing the ONS study so do one a month. I've never had to take one for symptoms but had to take one in January as my workplace requested it.

Londonwriter · 21/04/2021 17:25

12 (so far)

I have a rare immune disorder that causes episodic fever, headache, sore throat, joint and muscle pain, night sweats, insomnia and the occasional rash. Every time I report these symptoms, I get offered a COVID PCR test by the JoinZOE app...

Scarby9 · 21/04/2021 17:25

Don't count lateral flows.
O because of symptoms or close contact.

Springersrock · 21/04/2021 17:27

Loads of LFTs.

DD needs to do them for school but due to a disability she can’t so agreed with school that DH and I would do them twice a week instead

0 PCR

whatswithtodaytoday · 21/04/2021 17:27

Five. Four for symtoms and one because the Zoe app asked me to (headaches). I have a child in nursery, so yay bugs.

EveryFlightBeginsWithAFall · 21/04/2021 17:29

Lft 2

BettysCardigan · 21/04/2021 17:29

Just took my first one! Just out of curiosity really.

I gagged

minniemomo · 21/04/2021 17:30

None, everyone else I know has though

icelollycraving · 21/04/2021 17:32

One when I had symptoms, one when I took Ds in for an operation. Just received lateral flow tests in the post.

PuzzledObserver · 21/04/2021 17:33

I've had 3.

1st PCR - invited by Zoe app after reporting a sore throat - negative

2nd PCR - booked it because I had a cough - positive

1 lateral flow (husband had some spare from work) - because I had an attack of vertigo and he thought we ought to rule out Covid - negative.
