Morning.
I watched the video, and alot makes sense and aligns with thoughts I've had for a number of years - for example who really is now in charge? I balked a bit at the reference to "magic virus" as demonstrably the virus is real and has caused devastation and death to many who have caught it, but possibly, in the context of the whole video, the meaning was more of the magic opportunity that disasters capitalists have been afforded.
The injections for human system interfaces via technology distributed in this way also made me grit my teeth a bit. But then, a number of tech company employees do use RFID chips to enter their workplaces and for financial transactions...... so that requires much further investigation. I'm mindful of the fact that generally, with anything available to the general populous in terms of tech, research programmes may be some years further down the line.
And then co-incidentally, a quick look at the Guardian gave me this:
www.theguardian.com/technology/2021/apr/09/elon-musk-neuralink-monkey-video-game
"Co-founded by Musk in 2016, the San Francisco-based Neuralink aims to implant wireless brain computer chips to help cure neurological conditions like Alzheimer’s, dementia and spinal cord injuries and fuse humankind with artificial intelligence – though the technology is still in its early stages.
In August 2020, Musk unveiled a pig with a Neuralink chip implant, describing it as “a Fitbit in your skull”. In July 2019, Neuralink showed off a design that involved implanting tiny electrode “threads” into the brain as well as another device behind the ear.
Musk has a history of bringing together diverse experts to develop technology previously limited to academic labs, including for rockets and electrical vehicles, through companies such as Tesla Inc and SpaceX."
So we have the caveat that it's all in its early stages and it's all for benign purposes, which do sound very worthy.
My overall conclusion is that the genie is well and truly out of the bottle, and there is unlikely to be a broadly good result - resistance may lead to chaos on the streets, acceptance is just as potentially dystopian.
Anyone else wanting to get off the planet, but also wanting to make sure our children's future is human rather than transhuman?
As a PP said, we can start with the little things. If enough people start questioning it all, and demanding transparency, maybe it would tip things back.
One of the arguments I see repeated against "conspiracy" is that employees who find out about it would whistleblow - you can't keep big secrets etc. But the counter argument is that there are non-disclosure clauses in contracts with legal ramifications if broken to start with. Anyone with a family would think twice about having to go to ground, disrupt and disadvantage them, or heaven forbid, put them at direct risk. For most, the choice between greater good and nearest and dearest is a horrible dilemma, and one which until faced with it, has no true answer.
I spoke to a younger female friend last night, when the subject of vaccine passports came up. Her view was that it was, within reason, a viable and measured plan. When I gave a few arguments against, she took the position that we would maintain the choice to have the vaccine and / or engage with the passport tracking, and that it's just a trade off because travel and going out shopping etc are "luxuries". The conversation changed after that and I kept schtum, before I was accused of complete tin foil hattery.
I think people think that because no-one is holding us at gunpoint, or sending us off to the gulags for "wrongthink" everything is generally benign. In general, the populous is very busy keeping body and soul together, and tech appears to make it easier so what's not to like. We are artfully steered and nudged with an underlying message of rewards for participation, and fear of being left behind. Look at all the platforms we have now, to promote ourselves and our businesses - Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter, and every time a new one comes out, it gets added on. Every Youtube video, regardless of subject matter, says "Like, Subscribe, follow me on......." because there is potential to make money if you get enough traction.
For some of my generation, (50s) it's a foreign concept and country. I have done videos on Facebook for my shop - people seem to like them - no appreciable upturn in custom, but alot of praise. And then I noticed, that even sharing from the business page to my own and my DPs, the views went down and down, and I was getting messages encouraging me to pay for promotion. You may say, well that's fair, you can't expect free advertising, that's not how the world works. And if I were a big company, not scraping along on a week by week basis, maybe I would pay. It's a dilemma to be sure.
Anyway, sorry for the long ramble, my brain has been buzzing all week.....
Hope all are ok and I really appreciate the opportunity for discussion afforded here at the moment.
