Whilst you might not think you need the vaccine you really can’t be sure how if you caught this virus your body would react. I saw a picture of a slim young woman with no health issues who had died from this disease. You can’t be certain how this disease will go. One of the people I know thought like you that he didn’t need the vaccine as he was youngish fit and heathy. Within a short time of being tested positive he was dead.
Still trying to come to terms with this.
to be fair, the youngish fit and healthy person is unlikely to die within a short time of testing positive for Covid- it's when the symptoms turn to pneumonia that it because more of a risk (of death) and that takes more than what i'd consider 'a short time'. I think you'll find that there was more to it than it seems. Same with 'seeing a picture of a slim young person' etc, I guess you probably saw that somewhere in the media and the media aren't exactly portraying an accurate picture of things! Also, flu is more of an issue to the general population than Covid is, Covid mostly affects the elderly or those with one or more SERIOUS health conditions, flu can kill people who are much younger and not sick, and is more of a risk to children under 5 than Covid.
