How many schools are actually going back tomorrow now?

The majority of my friends all have inset days tomorrow. But I am not sure if that is just my area, although I have friends in other parts of the country who also seem to have an insert day that was arranged in September/October

But, if you’re going to shut them, after letting them go in for one day/a few days/ a week, then you really are giving the country the worst of both worlds. Disruptions to education and higher transmission rates. It is sheer LUNACY!

If kids are all back tomorrow I think there’s now no point in another lockdown. I think it’s too late again. So if we do have another lockdown it’s going to last a lot longer than it needed to.

What is the point of letting children go in for one day and having the potential of spreading the virus around so they can take it home to their families.

@MrsMiaWallis Havering is down 16.2% (2912 cases) Thurrock and Brentwood too. Numbers are awful but technically coming down.

The one thing that's helping ease my anxiety about all this, is imagining how fuming Gavin is. Makes me feel all warm inside.
