napody · 21/12/2020 15:57

@TheQueef

At least they've stuck him after Worzel so he doesn't look so dishevled.
Ahahaha... try again with quote to laugh at
GroundAlmonds · 21/12/2020 15:57

Nah this’ll be French themed or port themed or both.

notagoodyear · 21/12/2020 15:58

That based on half a day of seeing the chaos at the ports and airports, maybe Brexit wasn't such a good idea after all, very sorry we have misled you and lied to you... How do we call this off?

DfEisashambles · 21/12/2020 15:59

@Callipygion ditto Xmas Sad

stovetopespresso · 21/12/2020 15:59

@Recycledblonde

At the risk of offending someone although I’m past caring.

If you have an Alexa, ask her ‘What is Boris Johnson carrot 100 in Welsh?
Just make sure you don’t have any small children or easily offended adults within earshot.

GrinGrin can't wait to do this when dh is back, he will be so impressed
HappyChristmasTreeRex · 21/12/2020 16:00

@notagoodyear Sadly this is probably the one u-turn that won't happen.

DianaT1969 · 21/12/2020 16:00

Are we invading the Falklands?

MrsWhites · 21/12/2020 16:00

@notagoodyear if these scenes today don’t make people sit up and realise what their vote for brexit actually meant nothing will!

notagoodyear · 21/12/2020 16:01
@notagoodyear Sadly this is probably the one u-turn that won't happen.
Quite.
What is happening now is only what would have happened on 31 December anyway. Democracy etc.

RelightMyPfizer · 21/12/2020 16:02

@GroundAlmonds

Port themed you say?

I have a nice bottle of vintage Taylors

They can fool themselves it is macron being spiteful. I don't know what they think about our friends Canada and India joining in (and dozens of other countries around the world, not in the EU). Shame as I believe the government were hoping Canada etc would feed us after no-deal Brexit meant Europe couldn't anymore.

UnshakenNeedsStirring · 21/12/2020 16:03

Wont happen at the time hes said it will. Last few times he was late. More lies and blaming the EU coming our way. Despicable

willsantausesantatize · 21/12/2020 16:03

Boris won't u turn on Brexit. That is far too sensible and I doubt the EU would let him either ; they must be as sick of it and us too.
What a mess the country is in.

Boris likes Cockburns I believe

Grin
MrsWhites · 21/12/2020 16:06

Conference confirmed for 5pm (I’ll believe it when I see it) and will be joined by Transport secretary so looking like it is port and freight based.

PinkSpring · 21/12/2020 16:07

What could be bloody need to tell us now?! I am so fed up with all this - plus he never bloody starts the conference on time so we are all left waiting on him!

stovetopespresso · 21/12/2020 16:07

I dont think he was happy with how he came across last time so this will be more bouncy and upbeat. I'm considering a vodka shot for every pseudo cockney arm gesture.

Oh ffs...get over it...
Arthersleep · 21/12/2020 16:09

Does anyone actually think that he is doing a good job? I just don't get why he hasn't been ousted yet. I thought that I was indecisive, but even I would have handled this much better as a PM. He's just so blasé about everything.

itsgettingweird · 21/12/2020 16:10

@MrsWhites

Can’t be about schools not opening - no way are they organised enough to give us 2 weeks notice. They’ll announce that on 2nd Jan!
2nd of jan is too early. We don't return until the 3rd!
acovidcomplaint26252727 · 21/12/2020 16:12

@Arthersleep

I don’t think he’s doing a good job, but I wouldn’t take his job for any money atm. No one wants their reputation ruined by taking over when we’re in the midst of a pandemic and about to be destroyed by brexit.

Arthersleep · 21/12/2020 16:12

Boris likes Cockburns I believe

Well given how many places he's stuck it in over the years, I can well imagine that he has Cockburns.
