24 people, only one hospitalised. All children/families in school (am a primary teacher). My class have had more days isolating and thus doing online learning this term than they had in school.

Howyoualldoworkme · 20/12/2020 21:38

Tier 4. None

5 of whom (same family) have had it twice

Shingleballs · 20/12/2020 21:41

South Wales. Its been through here like wildfire, I’ve lost count. 1 has died. A few are still unwell a few weeks on.

YakkityYakYakYak · 20/12/2020 21:42

I know 3 people personally who have had it (one family unit)
There are also 4 people in my workplace who have had it at various points over the last few months.
A few felt like they had a bad cold and the rest were asymptomatic.

YakkityYakYakYak · 20/12/2020 21:42

South West

WhatzTheCraic · 20/12/2020 21:43
  1. Friend's elderly mum and friend's husband.
ChalkDinosaur · 20/12/2020 21:43

11, varying levels of illness but the 10 under 55 were all able to treat themselves at home. One person who died, he was much older.

LovingLen · 20/12/2020 21:44

Just adult DS, he knows lots of people that have had it though. I'm retired, DH wfh early 60s so don't go out that much anyway, most up my road are the same.

APurpleSquirrel · 20/12/2020 21:45

5 - one family of 4 & another person who miraculously didn't spread it round their family. All fine now.
But in South West so cases are very low in relation to the rest of the country.

KeeefBurtain · 20/12/2020 21:47

0 in the first wave, double figures since November

DaphneduM · 20/12/2020 21:47

None
But four deaths from other causes -
Suicide
Heart attack (young person in their 30's)
Heart attack (mid 50's)
Ruptured aorta

Personally I'm more concerned about the difficulty of getting treatment for other conditions, than Covid.

angstridden2 · 20/12/2020 21:49

2 people
1 elderly, diabetic, died right at beginning of outbreak, not sure the hospital knew what they were dealing with
90+ year old caught in hospital, was fine

Wobblysausage · 20/12/2020 21:50

About 90 give or take. Work in a care home. About half of them were my colleagues, and half were residents. It’s been horrific.

Oodlesofnoodles20 · 20/12/2020 21:51

About 20ish x

brighthouse · 20/12/2020 21:52

5 including my daughter who has it at the moment.

MadameBlobby · 20/12/2020 21:53

None.

Thatwentbadly · 20/12/2020 21:54

@Calyx72

Including myself, 8. One of which is the husband of my colleague who died of it last week, he was 48. He had Crohns disease but noone thought he would die of covid. (I know of many more, I work patient facing NHS, but those are the ones I personally know.)
My husbands has crohns and this has terrified me. Roll on the vaccine.
JemIsMyNameNooneElseIsTheSame · 20/12/2020 21:54

...

MadameBlobby · 20/12/2020 21:55

Although loads of my workmates and I were sick with a really strange bug end Feb/beginning March. One colleague’s dr has since said they thought she had Covid. No way of knowing though.

SerenaTuccot · 20/12/2020 21:57

I personally know 7 people who died from it. 3 from one family. It has ravaged my community.

Also have 2 friends with long covid.

MasterGland · 20/12/2020 22:00

About a dozen. All secondary school kids that I teach.

Callcat · 20/12/2020 22:07

Everyfucker! Me, DP, X2 DC, exDH, his DP, X2 DSC, loads of my friends (, many teachers), loads of kids at DC school, my DD's teacher. I reckon if I sat down and listed them I could name about 60. In S.Wales. We're RIDDLED.

Littlepond · 20/12/2020 22:12

Oh gosh, loads. DH and I, several of the kids’ friends, my friend and her husband, and then if you count every positive case I was notified about in my kids’ 3 different schools that’s about another 30!
