No more than 10 and none worse than mild flu. Mainly during the spring lockdown.

RudolphToldRedNoseNotSymptom · 20/12/2020 20:45

My cousin, in about May. Not in the UK though. His wife had a baby, and they all were tested. Mum and Dad were positive, baby negative. He just said 'you don't want to get it'. He described it as fatigue, aches and pains.

Laurendelight · 20/12/2020 20:46

8 and 2 were hospitalised and out but by no means better 6 months on.

NotExactlyMrsCurrentAffairs · 20/12/2020 20:47

Around 50

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 20/12/2020 20:48

None personally - but 3 pupils in DS school tested positive

Rudolphian · 20/12/2020 20:48

From work loads. I work in healthcare.
But personally. My sister and her husband had it. Luckily they were ok.
And now a brother in law has it. Hope my other sister who is his wife doesn't get it.

  1. 2 died.

1.work colleague. Did not effect her badly. Age 24.

  1. Friend of a friend. Had kidney failure. Caught it in hospital when he was being used to teach students. He died.
  1. My grand neighbour. Had cancer and continued to clean houses as she couldn’t afford not to work. Caught it from an elderly client. She died.

Grans neighbour

Elliania · 20/12/2020 20:52

I think 10. Luckily they all recovered but the severity varied, one had a bad flu, one is battling long Covid and 1 ended up in hospital with brochitis and pneumonia because the virus had done such a number on their lungs.

ButterflyBitch · 20/12/2020 20:53
hugocat · 20/12/2020 20:53

7- all mild cases. My daughter caught it from school but I didn't catch it .

JM10 · 20/12/2020 20:53
  1. Both just mildly ill for a week or so.
DianaT1969 · 20/12/2020 20:53

5 confirmed cases - one male 40s no underlying conditions was very poorly but stayed home as the hospitals were rammed at that point and made a slow recovery.
About 10 who think they had it in the Spring before testing.
A friend worked in a care home but retired in January. 11 of her residents and 1 colleague died before May. There may have been more deaths since.

Fairyfalls · 20/12/2020 20:53

6 in total the youngest age 13 who had no symptoms just loss of taste and the oldest 53 and had a bad case of flu like symptoms.

Dreamingofvenice · 20/12/2020 20:54

Over 30 but I work in a care home where there was an outbreak of 12 (staff and residents). Only know one person who died my poor Nan, know quite a few who had symptoms lasting weeks. Cant wait for my Vaccine!!

SadSecretSanta · 20/12/2020 20:54

Me, my partner, our son. Plus several colleagues and close to a hundred students at school.

hamstersarse · 20/12/2020 20:54

About 20

No one has been ill. That includes 3 people in their 80s.

Most people described it as like a cold / bad hangover

Coriandersucks · 20/12/2020 20:55

0 - not do I know of anyone who knows of anyone who has had it.

Must not know enough people!

KitKat1985 · 20/12/2020 20:55

I'm a nurse. Losing track slightly of how many colleagues I know that have had covid, but I think it's around 20. Some of them still haven't fully recovered. Plus I know a lot of patients whom have had covid. At this point I feel I'm just a lamb to the slaughter waiting to catch it too.

marriednotdead · 20/12/2020 20:55

Too many to count, including me and my two adult children back in March. Recent ones have often been in their early 20s, one of those was hospitalised for a week despite no underlying conditions or weight issues. And a friend of friend currently in a grave condition on a ventilator Sad
