None

Splann · 21/12/2020 11:43
  1. 3 died, 3 struggling with long COVID, 4 had it mildly and one has just been diagnosed. Range of ages, some healthy some not healthy, all spread across the country. Caught in care homes, work places and the one who has just been diagnosed, in hospital (elderly aunt who was in hospital for a different reason).
Thecherryontheverytop · 21/12/2020 11:44

Including myself, round about 20 that I know personally and many many more who I've heard have had it.

Thecherryontheverytop · 21/12/2020 11:45

Oh and 2 have died from it that I know personally. One only in his 50s

YerAWizardHarry · 21/12/2020 11:45
  1. A 5 year old child in my school placement class and my 27 year old best friend. Both totally fine
Diddlysquatty · 21/12/2020 11:45

Personally - zero

Baullocks · 21/12/2020 11:50

Two, my daughters, 4 and 7. It's hit my eldest hard.

BigWoollyJumpers · 21/12/2020 11:53

Only 3. DD brought it back from London in March, like a mild flu, not tested though. A friend caught it at college in March, and was quite ill, but now fine. Just found our a friends husband has had it in the last couple of weeks, but now recovered, not very ill.

walksen · 21/12/2020 11:54

About 15 staff from work and about 30 kids. Eight from one class.

No one else in my family has had it yet.

catsjammies · 21/12/2020 12:01
  1. First wave in London in March. All mild illness and fine 2 weeks later. I'm in London.
LaetenturCoeli · 21/12/2020 12:02

One. A friend of a friend.

JacobMarley · 21/12/2020 12:12

Too many. I’ve lost count. 5 didn’t make it and another 3 family friends in hospital now. At least 5 others suffering at home. No beds left in our local hospital 😣 The last I heard (last week) there were 7 ICU beds available throughout Wales! I’ve no idea if that has changed this week.

Frazzled2207 · 21/12/2020 12:20

3 families, not absolutely sure how many people in each family tested positive but possibly 4 in each so 12.
Quite a lot of friends of friends
Greater Manchester

Peaseblossom22 · 21/12/2020 12:22

Actually properly know 3 , some of ds friends
have had it an university and I probably know of about 10 other people that I have been told about .

We are semi rural but in an area where cases are now rising having been super low until the last month 🙁

NastyBlouse · 21/12/2020 12:32

Dozens (live in London and lots of family in Lancashire, Liverpool and Greater Manchester). Including me and DH (who was asymptomatic). It was everywhere in London Jan/Feb/March.

All very mild or asymptomatic, except for one guy (late 50s) who briefly went to hospital and caught a secondary infection (that wasn’t covid). He’d previously had hypothermia and had ongoing issues from that. He took a few weeks to recover but is ok now.

rorosemary · 21/12/2020 12:42

Lost count after 10.

ForestNymph · 21/12/2020 12:43

6 - me, DH, our kids and MIL

PattyPan · 21/12/2020 12:44

DSIL and her flatmates (although I don’t know them personally), one of DP’s friends, one work colleague, and a friend has texted me this morning to say that she, her DH and DC have got it at the moment. Plus one uni classmate (mid 20s) who sadly died.

crosstalk · 21/12/2020 13:53

Can I ask you if you're not already on it to download the C19 covid app run by King's College London? It launched well ahead of the NHS app (surprising, that) and feeds into the NHS data.

EskSmith · 21/12/2020 14:58

So so sorry Flowers to the people who have lost someone.
@mintyneb Flowers dreadfully sorry to hear about your father-in-law x

KindnessCrusader · 21/12/2020 18:14

Me and 2 others.

Lindy2 · 21/12/2020 18:21

In recent weeks

A family of 3 - all I'll but ok now

A man in his 40s - very rough for a while and spent one night in hospital but ok now.

A mum and teen who have it now. I haven't heard how they are.

DD's headteacher plus 3 TAs.

At the beginning of the year

1 of DH's colleagues who caught it in hospital.

1 health care worker in her 50s who just had a mild illness. Her DH in his late 50s passed away 😥. He had a mild underlying health condition that he didn't even know about.

Anon12345678910 · 21/12/2020 18:21

Just over 100 in the school where I work, official cases not just suspected close contacts off isolating.

kittensarecute · 21/12/2020 18:22

Nobody that I'm aware of.

Anon12345678910 · 21/12/2020 18:22

Personally know just under half of them.
