  1. My FIL. currently in ICU but about to be moved into palliative care as there is nothing more they can do for him

It’s so interesting as it seems to vary between zero people and loads of people. I’d be really interested to see the final figures with precise geographical position and job which I’m sure will be presented in the public inquiry in 2021/2022. Interesting to see the local hotspots that might be raising the national average.

Covidwoes · 20/12/2020 23:14

6 - me, DH, my aunt and 3 children in my school.

Zilch.

MiddlesexGirl · 20/12/2020 23:15

10ish known. No hospitalisation fortunately

sillysaussage · 20/12/2020 23:16

None at all, and I have 2 in school.

grannyjacob · 20/12/2020 23:24

2, back in March/April, Dundee. Married, both work in different social care settings, and are out/about a lot with their respective service users. Numbers alone are meaningless.

SlothWithACloth · 20/12/2020 23:31

Lots, including us.
I know one person who has died from it and one person who was in hospital on oxygen and lots of drugs and recovered. Neither elderly.
Everyone else (about 8 families) have had symptoms ranging from very mild to bed ridden flu for over a week.

2 confirmed. Both completely asymptomatic.

SillyOldMummy · 20/12/2020 23:35

2

KnowingMeKnowingYule · 20/12/2020 23:40

At least 50. Mainly kids and school staff.

Ritascornershop · 20/12/2020 23:41

0 - not a one. My great uncle’s friend had it, she’s in her 90’s and remained a symptomatic, but I don’t know her.

LizzieVereker · 20/12/2020 23:44

About 30 but I work in a secondary school.

coronafiona · 20/12/2020 23:45

20

KnowingMeKnowingYule · 20/12/2020 23:46

4 died (including one mid 50s educator)

planningaheadtoday · 20/12/2020 23:46

2, one died, one survived after ICU.

Porcupineinwaiting · 20/12/2020 23:48

What ever? 30+. Gobsmacked that people know so few.

bluechameleon · 20/12/2020 23:51

Until a couple of weeks ago, 2. Now it is ripping through the staff at my work (school) so I think I know about 15? But I've lost track of who has it now.

CausingChaos2 · 20/12/2020 23:51

0 - Don’t know anyone with a confirmed case. Just one friend who was really ill in February and suspects it may have been that.

Oblahdeeoblahdoe · 20/12/2020 23:53

Until this week 0. Now 4!

HeronLanyon · 20/12/2020 23:53

2 colleagues. Back in April.

DonegalGhirl · 20/12/2020 23:54

1 lady in her 80’s in the first wave who sadly died.

Another 7 in the 2nd wave, an 81 year who died, a 60 year old with underlying health issues who was hospitalised but thankfully has made a good recovery, a few have had mild symptoms, a few have been asymptomatic and one who now has long COVID.

It’s really quite frightening, I’m praying the vaccine works.
