To be weary of the vaccines?

Will you be getting it?

Will you be allowing your children to get it?

I'm curious to peoples responses as my social media seems to be full of posts from people mocking those who will get the vaccine.

I'm by no means an anti Vaxer. Myself and my children have had all vaccinations and have the flu jab yearly. My only worry is that not enough is known about the long term side effects.

@Whatwouldscullydo

I won't be getting it

We won't know for years if its effective or safe . Politicians free to experiment on themselves if they wish to attempt to set an example

Quite right! who wants a vaccine designed at home by Boris using his home chemistry set.

I expect the millions (4 is it?) who have taken it so far think it was made by scientists like all the other vaccines that have saved so many lives.

Also let's be honest. People are worried about the Bill Gates chip. There must be something to it right? All those 5G towers can't just be for calls/broadband. Grin

Social media certainly amplifies fringe beliefs.

I this notice on YouTube. I have always been an information gatherer type who will give a hearing to all sorts. But the new content they push at you if you look in either direction is often utter tosh.

Maybe people are concerned as this is the first MRNA vaccine? People are entitled to be concerned about their own health and the health of their family? I'm personally on the fence over whether to have it or not. We don't know the long term health effects of mRNA vaccines yet. It's normal to be unsure of something we don't know enough about yet.

Yep. Frontline NHS and I’ve seen the devastation so I can’t wait for mine. Yes it won’t stop the spread but it will reduce the need for me to potentially need intervention.

They need to change the motto. It isn’t about saving the NHS, it’s about saving the NHS for you personally. It’s about saving the NHS to ensure that should you need a bed it’s there for you!
