Hi all,

I know everyone is feeling a bit down. I have plenty of reasons to spiral down negativity and my mental health is rather fragile, so I decided to give myself few goals for this lockdown to keep me in focus through this chaos. I thought some of you might like to share yours too ?

1- potty train my toddler!
2- wean my toddler
3- renovate the bedrooms
4- start writing a book
5- cycle 10 hours combined.
6- Renew wardrobe

You've got this OP. Flowers Cake Wine

I have thought of one, I got 2 jigsaws before last lockdown, I need to do them. Currently doing one bought last week, so once that is done I will start the next one. Current one is a Christmas one so need to get that done so I can pass it on to someone (her Mum does them and then passes them on again to a friend)

I also need to make sure the DC don't break my work chair. Confused

Thanks OP, great positive idea for a thread. Some peoples goals have inspired me.

  • learn a bit of Spanish
  • lose 1stone (that’s a stretching goal!)
  • get to the end of my ironing basket
  • walk 3 k every day with baby

Well my main goal is to support DD through her first set of mocks with all the revision that entails and the stress of getting her art coursework completed.

But for me I'm hoping to lose some weight after gaining a stone in the last lockdown and getting my garden sorted and tidied up for winter. That's all I will feasibly have time for as I have a part time job and a home business too which has it's busiest time of year from Sept to December.

Love this thread, my current goal is to do 10 minutes of yoga every morning...been doing well, but I'm off work today and currently sat in my dressing gown, staring at the YouTube tutorial which is on pause 🙈.

How is everyone else getting on?
