Just wondering if people think they will work and help bring the cases down enough where we might go lower down in tiers or is it not enough.

No I don’t . Tier 3 here. We can still go to the shops / work / school / uni / go out for a meal and drinks until 10pm.
How is that going to work ?
I have three dc in three different educational establishments all of them have sent emails about positive cases this weekend. Waiting to see if one will mean more time off this term for one of mine.
Schools / colleges etc are running rife with cases much more than any hospitality setting locally. 5 cases in my dd year group alone. Many more across school.
Tier 3 actually doesn’t change much at all for us as we haven’t been able to see family inside for ages anyway.
