Looking like lockdown is on the cards, but my area likely won't be included.

@NuttyinNotts

Also is this badly worded:

"All hospitality venues (cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars and social clubs) can only remain open to offer substantial meals, or must move to operate a delivery and takeaway service only. Alcohol can only be served with a substantial meal."

Or does it literally ban going into a cafe for coffee and cake?

Just checked gov.uk on the "special" restrictions for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire and yes there is literally a ban on going into a cafe for coffee or even coffee and cake.

This - "People will not be able to sit in a cafe or restaurant to drink coffee or eat a snack."

Beggars belief! And yet still there are people that think that these measures are "scientific". Fast losing patience with the ignorance that is allowing liberties and freedoms to be taken for no justifiable reason.

So you can sit inside a restaurant for 2 hours & eat a substantial meal but 20 minutes for a snack is not allowed?
(Banging my head on wall right now)

Yup, ludicrous.

We're moving house ne t Friday, we have the packers in on Thursday so have to vacate the house. I have to conto ye to work that day, so arranged with a friend who owns a therapy centre to rent one of her un-used counselling rooms for the day. It now looks like she is being forced to close (personal services), so I'll have no option but to go into my office for the day. Seriously, how is that safer for anyone?!

Doing so is such a soul-crushingly joyless experience, I don't know why anyone would bother, anyway!
