People STILL not wearing masks on London buses

I had to take a journey by bus earlier. There were about 10 people on the bus, three of whom were not wearing masks. Drivers need to stop letting people on without masks - these selfish passengers are putting everyone else’s lives at risk! Sad

@ArcheryAnnie

It's not a "fear" of covid, it's a risk of covid.
No, for many people it's fear. There is a risk for many things in life.

I would say being angry that 3 people didn't wear a mask (that pretty much does fuck all), thinking your life has been put in danger, is fear.

Oh haha so you are equating the tiny risk of dying through everyday risk with the risk of catching a highly infectious virus with a large (in viral terms) mortality rate?

You know I don't care who wants to take what risk with their own life. It's Darwin's theory in real life. But i'll be fucked if I'll let you transmit the outcome of your stupidity to me.

Take as many risks as you want. Who cares? Just don't visit your risk on others. It's called being a selfish cunt.

@FTMF30 you are welcome to take all the risks you like with your own welfare, but the available evidence says that not wearing a mask is a danger to others, not yourself. And that's not a risk you have a right to take.

One in 170 people have coronavirus. www.newscientist.com/article/2237475-covid-19-news-one-in-170-people-in-england-have-coronavirus/

We aren't talking conspiracy theories or made up illness here. This isn't a second MMR scam. It's not Facebook 'News'. You may not know people who have got it or died from it. I do. Several. One on my employees has had it and two have relatives or neighbours with it (one lost a friend). I only have 8 employees. So of those that's three either have had it or have first hand contact with it.

That's not made up shit odds with it all just being a bit of a scare tactic from government.
