Nothing much different here. I did go into my first local shop to buy a birthday gift for my dsis. It felt very strange to be in a shop.
Other than that I went to the supermarket and did my Saturday chores at home.

Had a PJ day and a takeaway for dinner. Didn’t leave the house at all..... not due to Covid, just having a lazy day.

Today we saw my husbands family for first time.... usually see them every couple of weeks so 4 months has felt like forever!

Tomorrow I get to see my dad - I can’t wait! He lives alone and has been shielding so he’s so looking forward to company and a hug.

I've been seeing my mum over lockdown as I've been doing her shopping, but I went into the house and then took her out for coffee at a local beauty forest. She's not left her street since 12th March and was so glad to be out.

Beauty spot even!

Not much on sat but today! Oh my! We escaped over the border to England and had a lovely Sunday lunch out. DH drove so I sd 2 glasses of Prosecco and a glass of rose. Kids were well behaved and were off the tech and we talked and played top trumps between courses. Restaurant was very relaxed but very clean. All in masks but so friendly. I just sat and watched people - such a joy.

We escaped over the border to England

Was that allowed? Genuine question...

So it appears that overall footfall was half what it was on the corresponding Saturday last year.

What was all the fuss about? Don't Panic everyone!

Yet again the media whipping everyone up into a frenzy - I've said it before but they should be strung up.

*Walked past a barbers in town yesterday and no masks or visors being worn.”

That’s pretty stupid of the barbers on all sorts of levels.... Firstly, they will put off certain customers; and secondly, they risk being shut down!

HeIenaDove · 06/07/2020 15:49

Derby the town was heaving. I cant have been the only one who noticed.

Yet the silence on local fb groups was deafening.

Especially as they were VERY vocal about people on buses not wearing them. And saying how people with COPD asthma etc should "just try"

Fuckers.
