And answer questions today. I wonder if he's doing the briefing today with Bozo?!

I wonder how this will go?!

OP posts:
Lemons1571 · 25/05/2020 17:11

He got behind the wheel with weird eyesight Shock

S0phisticatedSal · 25/05/2020 17:11

It was such a shite worrying time when BoJo was ill. So scary. Frankly at that time I’d have wanted Cummings in his job and his child elsewhere. if Id known he was ill.

His job is slightly more crucial than the jobs the majority of us have.

mooffie · 25/05/2020 17:12

Someone needs to ask him about his wifes Spectator article!!!!!!!!!

Yes it's the lying

hamstersarse · 25/05/2020 17:12

Do people seriously believe the media have been impeccable throughout this crisis?!?

They have been appalling. Stirring up fear, creating anxiety, cherry picking stories that suit their narrative

PerspicaciaTick · 25/05/2020 17:12

Is his wife a non-driver?

Chaosdragon · 25/05/2020 17:12

Yeah its falling apart a bit with the questioning rather than his statement. He definitely is cross when hes asked to say sorry or say it was wrong.

I think it will go away though because he actually coming across as quite pathetic and the general public on the whole wont want to kick him whilst hes down

mooffie · 25/05/2020 17:13

I like this women

NotTerfNorCis · 25/05/2020 17:13

Clearly there must be more to him than that or he wouldn't have got himself in that powerful position
Based on that argument, Trump is the Einstein of our times

I mean he must have a lot of personal confidence and a hard nose to have pushed his career so far. He can't be the humble, stumbling man he appears.

But a polished cynic would have made a false apology and moved on. Cummings isn't doing that. He seems ordinary and even naive.

The journalists are being nice to him. Have they been told he's going to struggle?

HeIenaDove · 25/05/2020 17:13

Oh here it comes Give it up @S0phisticatedSal et al Its not going to work.

mooffie · 25/05/2020 17:13

He definitely is cross when hes asked to say sorry or say it was wrong.

He doesn't like been challenged

Horsemad · 25/05/2020 17:13

He's not that smart for an Oxford grad is he? 🤨

mooffie · 25/05/2020 17:13

YES!!

MynephewR · 25/05/2020 17:14

Oh god this is painful to watch 😬 I don't actually think that what he did was thaaaat awful but ultimately he broke the rules that he helped to make, the people want him gone, he should go.

NotAnotherUserNumber · 25/05/2020 17:14

@S0phisticatedSal

I don’t like his politics but I feel sorry for him. He’s got a really stressful job. The prime minister was seriously ill. He knew he’d have to go back work when he should have stayed in bed. If my parents had a farm with a spare cottage I think I’d have gone there.I would have done the dummy drive too.

But all this applies to lots of people and everyone else managed to follow the rules properly.

HeIenaDove · 25/05/2020 17:14

Hes GASLIGHTING. His parents house wasnt the focus of anything until after all this came out.

So he has just totally gaslighted over the Spectator article

Nanalisa60 · 25/05/2020 17:14

I really don’t care!! This is just turning into a witch hunt live on TV, we really need to move forward!!

hamstersarse · 25/05/2020 17:15

Do you want a false apology like you get from everyone else in this type of situation?

He’s not sorry because of the reasons he’s outlined. Why would you want a fake apology?

S0phisticatedSal · 25/05/2020 17:15

I n those circumstances with his job I’m not sure everybody would have.

SimonJT · 25/05/2020 17:15

This is possibly more cringe than the Prince Andrew interview

Notmyrealname855 · 25/05/2020 17:16

What he did was bad (and weird him and his wife misleading ppl as to where they were...) especially as he was helping with policy and had corona and had options for childcare in London and did this stupid breach repeatedly.

Then it’s so much worse when the Gov and cabinet cover for him. Who had a backbone?! Half my family voted for the tories and are now wondering who is an actual MP with any idea of how to govern, if this muppet has so much sway

MsSafina · 25/05/2020 17:16

He must be a goner now.

S0phisticatedSal · 25/05/2020 17:16

It is a witch hunt and it’s horrible. He’s a shy academic who has clearly acted like a rabbit in the headlights under exceptional circumstances.

FourTeaFallOut · 25/05/2020 17:16

I don't feel at all sorry for him. I feel sorry for those parents who missed the funeral of their children following the letter of the covid advice. Cummings, with his little sad eyes? No, he can get fucked.

HeIenaDove · 25/05/2020 17:17

Oh i am moving forward @Nanalisa60 ......................to visit my parents in early June.

StealthPolarBear · 25/05/2020 17:17

This woman excellent too
