Kinnock could have been a spreader.

Haha

cantdothisnow1 · 24/05/2020 13:34

Has there been any further overt support for DC on twitter from the cabinet today or are they silent?

randomer · 24/05/2020 13:34

Brilliant, a Top Trumps Game of who has been a naughty politician.

Well if Dom has to go , so should Steve.

Hilarious.

IcedPurple · 24/05/2020 13:36

I know it's totally beside the point but... why is he wearing the same manky orange tshirt as yesterday? Ugh!

Roussette · 24/05/2020 13:39

Here is footage from the van. Brilliant, just brilliant.

This ain't going away

None of them have added anything else. Robert Halton has apologised for tweeting support.

Boris in a pickle as is most of the cabinet as they all appear to have known that he went off to Durham and it didn't occur to them to check the guidance they issued on travelling and not doing so to self isolate.

So, eggy faces and no recovery option unless they all do a 'on reflection the guidance wasn't clear enough' piece

It seems rather inconsiderate for the other people on the street, including the driver trying to get past.

chomalungma · 24/05/2020 13:45

One heck of a video from Labour

Roussette · 24/05/2020 13:46

Gronky I'm sure it's not parked up and staying there.

mrsspooky · 24/05/2020 13:48

Full respect to Robert Halfon MP for this apology - thats all they have to say! We are all human, we all want to see families. Thank you to the MPs who stand up here on this. Its not about DC its about the backtracking and lies and disrespect to us all.

It also seems a bit pointless if it has gone there this afternoon when DC went to Downing Street this morning. I'm sure it would have been all over rolling news if he had been seen leaving again.

GrimmsFairytales · 24/05/2020 13:48

It seems rather inconsiderate for the other people on the street, including the driver trying to get past.

If this is inconsiderate, what would you call driving 260 miles with a passenger who has coronavirus?

MissEliza · 24/05/2020 13:50

I think Stephen Kinnock apologised. I think if DC had apologised and eaten some humble pie, it would have ameliorated the situation somewhat. He's an arrogant bastard.

The80sweregreat · 24/05/2020 13:52

Marr was respectful today but you could hear the frustration in Shapp's voice.
' here it comes, how can I turn it around here' ! All 'roads ' of inquiry were brought back to Mr Cummings : there wasn't any getting away from it. They used to lead to Rome once , but today it was dead ends and roundabouts twisting away through the bending of rules and wishy washy ideals of looking out for his little boy.
' did he stop at all on the way up ? ' asked Marr politely. Shapps couldn't possibly say but the road plans he has in place to make such journeys better were in the pipeline!
Isn't that nice?

Gronky · 24/05/2020 13:52

I'm sure it's not parked up and staying there.

Hopefully, not.

If this is inconsiderate, what would you call driving 260 miles with a passenger who has coronavirus?

As I said, for the other people on the street, presumably the entire street didn't drive 260 miles with a passenger who has coronavirus. It would be bad enough if the residents weren't stuck at home.

randomer · 24/05/2020 13:53

yes, it's jolly well inconsiderate. Naughty old van

BackInTime · 24/05/2020 13:53

What is most evident in all of this is that this government hold the public in complete contempt and are willing to shamefully lie their socks off when commanded to do so. Morals and backbones are seriously lacking on the cabinet benches. We have to ask ourselves what else have they lied about?

GrimmsFairytales · 24/05/2020 13:55

It would be bad enough if the residents weren't stuck at home.

Ah but we're not stuck at home now. You can drive as far as you like for exercise, and if you happen to have a partner with symptoms and a 4 year old then feel free to remain at your destination.

SailingOver · 24/05/2020 14:01

'A campaign van has turned up outside Dominic Cummings’ house in Islington and is playing new clips and a video of Boris thanking the public for their sacrifice'

Poor neighbour but a good publicity stunt.

vera99 · 24/05/2020 14:03

They’ll be working on his resignation. A sacking is hard to come back from, honourably resigning over this error of judgment makes it much easier to be brought back to deal with Brexit once Covid has waned.

Roussette · 24/05/2020 14:06

Hopefully, not

Dear oh dear. Obviously not.
This is 'Led by Donkeys' who arranges lots of billboards and such like. They call the Government to account. They are respectful and I imagine are touring the area with the van. Probably on the way to No.10 as I type...
