It's been claimed that he could have googled to find it out. The fact that he's gone on record with the guardian and now filed a police report shows he's serious about what he saw.

More than anything, it's this that gets me and makes want to weep.

But Cummings is ok to travel with Covid symptoms and spread the virus because it was his instinct to take his son to his sister's when he has extended family leaving in the same city as him. He was too ill to look after his son but not too ill to drive on the motorway .

Family days out by the castle are also nice during lockdown I hear.

No protective gear for key HCP, schools suposed to open with very young children who are unable to comply with social distancing rules.

Come on! Enough, enough. First Brexit, then Covid so badly managed, I fear we are being governed by the worst bunch in British history.

I don’t really care one way or another about Cummings. He’s an arrogant, privileged sod and there’s been no shortage of those zipping up and down the country during lockdown because they don’t see why they shouldn’t. I do care that the Prime Minister of my country just pissed on my head and told me it was fucking raining. I won’t forget that.

We all know Dominic Cummings didn't go and stay with his family because he was too ill to look after his child but because he's the kind of man who is too busy and important to look after his child if his wife is unwell. Bet he's never had to before.

@stopcock why were they not allowed at his funeral I thought small numbers have always been allowed at funerals

One (or two, not 100% certain) was displaying symptoms so the whole family had to self-isolate.

I can't see the original comment that question relates to, but if it's what I think it is, it's because they had symptoms
