I’m wfh with no idea when I’ll be heading back into the office, how about everyone else?

OP posts:
dreamingofstars · 16/05/2020 20:42

WFH also apparently for the foreseeable- format of how we carry out our work has changed to enable this.

topcat2014 · 16/05/2020 20:43

At work - 100% of the hours for 80% of the pay :(

CurlyEndive · 16/05/2020 20:44

Working from home - normal hours, normal pay.

Ethellsmum · 16/05/2020 20:44

WFH - I go on maternity leave end of June so dont think I’ll be back in the office before then.

insancerre · 16/05/2020 20:45

Furloughed for 3 weeks then a weeks annual leave then back to work as normal

ThanosSavedMe · 16/05/2020 20:45

Furloughed and can’t wait to go back to work though don’t know when that will happened. If and when it does, I’m sure I’ll be working from home

addictedtotheflats · 16/05/2020 20:45

Work as normal - A&E nurse

BeforeIPutOnMyMakeup · 16/05/2020 20:45

WFH then I will be furloughed at some point in the next couple of months before being made redundant if a new project can't be found.

2020hello · 16/05/2020 20:45

Wfh our office Ia providing antibody testing next month and then when at the end of the year people start returning everyone will have to have covid testing every Monday with a 24 hour turn around for results to be allowed into the office.

YouStupidBoy · 16/05/2020 20:46

I have been going into work as normal, busier than usual so working up to 7 days per week - 5 of them in work, any extra wfh.

Sparklingbrook · 16/05/2020 20:46

Furloughed, but I know I will be going back at some point.

TheLightSideOfTheMoon · 16/05/2020 20:46

Work as normal but currently self isolating until my test comes back.

Selmaselma · 16/05/2020 20:48

WFH - likely for a few more months

Tabithha · 16/05/2020 20:49

WFH and was told a few days ago we can do so for the rest of the year

Northernsoullover · 16/05/2020 20:50

Furloughed. I've no idea if I'm going back to work. I work for myself so it depends if my clients want me back. Fortunately I am doing a health related degree at the same time so I am hoping there may be an opening for me this time next year.

meow1989 · 16/05/2020 20:51

Wfh as is dh. Dont think my colleagues and I will be returning to the office for months yet

Rhubardandcustard · 16/05/2020 20:52

Wfh - have tried to keep to contracted hours but finding it very hard to switch off from work, so far working 20% extra a day as its so busy, bu think it will ease up soon. Not sure when I will be back in the office. Would honestly like a bit of both worlds, part office part wfh.

MummytoCSJH · 16/05/2020 20:52

@topcat2014 how come you're only getting paid 80%? That doesn't sound right!

TinnedPearsForPudding · 16/05/2020 20:55

DH & I both work in hospitals in "key" roles so we are working as normal. DS goes to school on the days I work (shift work so a couple of weekdays per week). We were discussing last night how little our lives have changed when compared to some other people

Cherrysherbet · 16/05/2020 20:56

Working full time, normally
Part time in a supermarket. 8th week of doing 50+ hrs per week. Self employed DH has no work at all.

Idontbelieveit12 · 16/05/2020 20:56

I work in a preschool. We haven’t been open since schools shut. Luckily am being paid my normal wage. Worrying about what’s going on come the beginning of June! We can’t socially distance 2, 3 and 4 year olds...

PestymcPestFace · 16/05/2020 20:57

Until today I had worked every single day since lockdown bar one.

I have this weekend off as the dog tried to break me.

We have had to change so many things to make working safe. Then I come on here and see many people don't want to change anything unless it becomes mandatory.

I'm disapointed by my fellow Brits.

OddBoots · 16/05/2020 20:57

I'm WFH full time, my role can;t be done from home and isn't needed at the moment but there is other work that they haven't got anyone to do so I am doing that instead, it's 2 grades above my role (and I only started with this employer after a major career change in March) so it has been a steep learning curve.

DH is also WFH full time but is being paid 20% less as the company is struggling financially but don't want to make redundancies.

tunnocksreturns2019 · 16/05/2020 20:58

WFH, primary school aged kids at home, workload high. DH died a few years ago so it’s all on me. But we’re okay. Just.

museumum · 16/05/2020 21:00

Have always wfh though usually with childcare and usually I have meetings out of the house up to three days a week.
