@tunnocksreturns2019
Nice to see you, much love as always xx

Chanel05 · 16/05/2020 21:30

I'm WFH, pregnant teacher and not back in school on 1st June so will continue.

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 16/05/2020 21:31

Working as normal, nursing. Longer hours than usual, that's the only difference!

Ilikewinter · 16/05/2020 21:31

I work in pharmacy so in work as normal ....in fact nothing is normal but at last ive had several weeks to get used to it!

DonnaDarko · 16/05/2020 21:35

Furloughed at least until end of July. Same for DP.

No idea if either of us will have jobs to go back to due to the industries we're in, so quite worrying.

BrieAndChilli · 16/05/2020 21:35

Furloughed. Small company so not sure if it will survive long term as main clients although big companies are mainly abroad, also do a lot of work at congresses which aren’t going ahead for the rest of this year.
Really hope it survives and I know the owners are doing everything they can but without any big projects coming in we need restrictions to be lifted across Europe and the rest of the world in order to start getting some money in.

Lindjam · 16/05/2020 21:35

WFH

Loving it! I have a wonderful boss who has told us all he anticipates we will be wfh for at least the rest of the year.

I am very lucky my job is in a field that is 100% secure (even more now to be honest) but I do feel for those facing so much uncertainty over the next 18 months or however long it takes. Flowers

Yellredder · 16/05/2020 21:36

College tutor wfh.

Gazelda · 16/05/2020 21:38

WFH for a charity. Worried about job security.

FurForksSake · 16/05/2020 21:38

Furloughed till end of the month then unemployed (until exam season when I have work as an invigilator).

Not really sure what to do with myself wrt getting another job. We are just about ok on one salary and hopefully there will be some exams sometime in the next 12 months... Vaguely looking at retraining as an accounts assistant or PM but doing it from home with no experience is not easy.

delilahbucket · 16/05/2020 21:39

Self employed WFH, no different to usual for me. DP is classed as a key worker and he's working one week in and one week Mon, Wed, Fri with Tue and Thu WFH. He's on reduced hours overall though, 6 hour days rather than 8.

Spamellahamella · 16/05/2020 21:41

Furloughed for another 2 and a bit weeks. Sounds like work is getting busier though so half expect to be back after that. Before lock down started I worked two weeks from home and loved it, but it's not something my employers will want long term as they like a present in the office

AliciaMayEmory · 16/05/2020 21:42

My job can’t be done from home but my place of work is closed. I’m not furloughed yet. Expect I will be if this carries on. That or redundancy.

LisaSimpsonsbff · 16/05/2020 21:46

WFH, as is DH. Finding it a bit tough because we have a toddler so we have to work in shifts. He's a teacher (secondary) and we're not at all sure when he'll be going in, and whether it'll be a full timetable when he does. My work have said they don't think my team will be back in the office until January at the earliest Confused

Unescorted · 16/05/2020 21:48

WFH - in a countercyclical type of job so busier than ever. Employer does not expect to see us back in the office for a while so they have sent us all office chairs and big monitors to make it more comfortable. We are being given the choice of returning to the office or not when they reopen them or mix and match.

Redwinestillfine · 16/05/2020 21:49

WFH, as is DH.

M0recakeplease · 16/05/2020 21:49

On the dole for the first time in my 20 year adult life!

Utterlydespairing · 16/05/2020 21:51

I’ve been working throughout. Warehouse worker sending products to florists in this country and abroad

frumpety · 16/05/2020 21:54

Working as normal through out lockdown , not from home, but in many other peoples homes.

AliciaWhiskers · 16/05/2020 21:55

Working as normal.

Sangelina · 16/05/2020 21:57

At home, not working on full pay.

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 16/05/2020 21:57

DH has been working in the office 5-6 days out of 7 in a random pattern, sharing a small office with 2 other people, plus other people on their floor sharing toilets. The 'social distancing' measures are doing meetings via the internal video conferencing network. Can't work from home as need access to the secure network (although more secure laptops have now arrived). Job critical to Covid response.

Tangledyarn · 16/05/2020 21:57

Just gone back to work after being off sick for 7 weeks with covid. P/T NHS but WFH currently, jobs secure but was really struggling coping with work with my health issues pre covid and am struggling even more now so feel v stressed about it even though theoretically it should be totally doable.

MondeoFan · 16/05/2020 21:59

Furloughed and about to head into my 9th week off. I can't do the job from home so should be going back next month I hope

FrenchyQ · 16/05/2020 22:02

I've been furloughed for nearly 5 weeks now, no idea when I'll be going back as our company doesn't have enough work for me to be there
