Shame we don't have an election for ages.

But great to finally have some opposition to this government again, particularly as UK deaths overtake every other country in the world apart from the Us, that has a population 5 times as big.

Interesting to note that a new poll today shows that more people now disapprove of the government’s handling of the coronavirus situation so far than approve of it - 39% approve versus 42% who disapprove, so a new score of -3% disapprove.

That's a big fall of 9% approving in just the last week alone.

To update this thread, another poll recently showed how huge the fall in Johnson's popularity has been and how all those votes are going straight to Starmer.

www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/may/30/tory-poll-lead-collapses-as-voters-say-cummings-should-go

The survey by Opinium for the Observer shows a massive 81% think Cummings broke the rules. It also finds that support for the Conservatives is collapsing, with the party now just four points ahead of Labour, having had a commanding lead of 26 points just two months ago.

In the past week alone, the Tory lead has fallen by eight points, the largest weekly drop Opinium has recorded since 2017.

The Tory lead of 4 points is the lowest since Johnson became prime minister. The Tories are down four points on last week, to 43% (two points below their figure at the general election). Labour is up 4 points, to 39%.

Kid Starmer v Evil Clown - The Kid's winning!

Feel delighted to have a functioning Opposition again. Vitally important that our Government of None of the Talents is held to account.

Boris is just a big man-child who cannot function without a woman to look after him and a team to help fill in the gaps between the odd Latin phrase which he sprinkles here and there to try to disguise just how utterly out of his depth he is.

Here's a more recent poll, showing that Labour is in the lead again in Wales, where it had lost its traditional support under Corbyn.

Yes! Keir will get our vote!

FliesandPies · 04/06/2020 18:27

Daily Mail has a poll showing Johnson's approval rating has fallen by 40 points since April.

Greenpop21 · 04/06/2020 18:27

I’ll be voting for Keir. A decent man from normal roots .

BGD2012 · 04/06/2020 18:29

He is really showing Boris up at PMQ.

effingterrified · 04/06/2020 18:36

Agree, Boris is embarrassingly bad.
