Just that really. Lighthearted.

We ordered a “for the benefit of Mr Kite” poster from America that came today, desperate to get it framed at the local framing company.

Also missing McDonald’s 😂🐷.

What are you missing?

Our local curry house

Pre -covid dog walks . Our council has insisted all dogs on leads - I miss watching my dog play with other friendly dogs , and chatting about dogs with other owners

Hairdresser first, then beauty salon for a facial and eyebrow/lash tint. Then gym, restaurants, theatres, museums, galleries. M&S food which is open but I’m not able to go. Garden centre.

I miss browsing at John Lewis, getting a free cake and coffee with the vouchers and trying on expensive makeup with the intention of not actually buying any (intention does not always turn into reality).

JL have managed to turn shopping into an experience more than other stores, so I'll be surprised if they go under.

John Lewis and Debenhams so I can waft around the beauty houses.
My hairdresser, my hair looks odd and I'm not letting dd near it.
CafeNero for a coffee with a fancy pattern on.
Charity shops, miss my mooching.
Aldi, for the aisles of tat that you never knew you needed.
Local NT place for a lovely walk.
Local theatre, I had tickets but obvs couldn't go in April.

Agree with the pps who say they're missing mooching around the supermarket at their own pace.

I don't normally mooch exactly as I tend to shop quite quickly, normally, but at the moment I'm finding supermarket shopping quite stressful.

I don't mind the queuing, often end up chatting to the person behind or in front of me, but once I get in the shop I takes me twice as long as normal: trying to avoid other shoppers, trying to find the things I want while avoiding other shoppers, making sure I adhere to the one way system and then you find you've forgotten something three aisles down where you've already been and you have to go up and down all the aisles to get there.

And yes, I do make a list, but because I'm concentrating on all the above I keep missing things on it.

I try to go as seldom as possible but I've got to the stage now where I dread going.
