Thread number...4?!? Fucking hell I've never been so popular.

Keep on keeping on and ,moan, whinge and laugh while you enjoy your deliveries and cackle evilly while you kill thousands.

All under the benevolent eye of your awesome , yellow and very ripe leader.

May the bleach be with you.

It has been fine up to now Max as we just had an A4 book to write in

Now we have all this :-(

Going to email them if it gets too OTT and tell them we will not be doing all the printing etc just the book

And I agree they see the other ones etc, makes it tricky. We just had two tins of tomato soup which has helped a bit getting back to it now :-(

Orangeblossom78 · 28/04/2020 12:58

Yes they did send a message saying not to worry and wellbeing most important etc. Hmm.

Orangeblossom78 · 28/04/2020 13:00

Princess he's 11, year 6. Might not even be back there - yes we will do pictures of the book and leave the other stuff. They are generally fine, very understanding really and guess it is all new.

Thanks all Flowers

Orangeblossom78 · 28/04/2020 13:00

Other one is 15, mid GCSEs..his seems easier somehow, just getting on with it himself thankfully. Who knows

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 28/04/2020 13:05

So jealous of the skip, we have a garageful of crap that honestly just needs to go.

Morning all

yes it is 1pm but I took 5mg diazepam last night about 3am, alongside something else, so just woke up. Unsurprisingly, I feel much better! Grin

Orange thanks re public transport. I was just wondering if anyone had used it to get somewhere nice. I imagine elderly might not be questioned so much and I'm wondering how I feel about being asked by police where I'm going. I could say anything I suppose.

Still haven't solved the loo problem though!

so glad it's not hot. Flat won't be boiling for a change.

I've always been a quiet person but I think I'll be even more after this. I can't imagine spending a day and night at mum's again. I won't want to spend time at pubs if we've got to register our details to go in, which is going to annoy my sister and a couple of friends.

Willow2017 · 28/04/2020 13:30

Next door has a skip they are dismantling thier tiny back area. He has a small jack hammer fir the brick work and slabs. Am tempted to ask him if he will do mine if i bung him some cash. Or maybe rent it from him and set the teens loose🤣🤣
Mine is a joke. A raised 'patio' (crappy flag stones laid badly) with no actual access unless i walk along the wall!! How the HA thought it was ok for whatever lunatic made it i don't know. They said i could have it removed if i got permission and paid for it gee thanks. I want a flat area i can put a shed on and actually access without risking breaking my neck!

Really need to move my lazy arse and put washing out and pot up my plants. Give me a kick someone.

That school work sound ridiculous! How do they expect patents to fork out forreams of paper and ink? Why arent they using a portal? Ds2 does his work online and just submits it to the teacher. No printing necessary and he is in high school.

Under Saurons Eye.

Our flat is cooler too Lilac. Oh just re-read the letter, it seems the school work is just as they can do, and to ignore the deadlines on the webpage That makes things easier.

Other parents also on their messaging about how to do it without printing it all on the public bit as well. Feel a bit better now.

Anyone else stressed about the ideas coming through for example mask wearing (shudder) and this odd bubble thing of friends? Don't like any of it. Going to the co-op soon for wine and milk, wish me luck, it is grumpy and one way system freaks me out.

Orangeblossom78 · 28/04/2020 14:09

Think they just said they were going to the shop (bus) to get shopping

LilacTree1 · 28/04/2020 14:12

the bubble of friends would help me but I completely see that freedom is better!!!!

The mask wearing horrifies me as well. Asthma UK don't have official advice on this but have said that a lot of asthmatics feel like they can't breathe properly with a mask on.

if we are made to wear a mask in the open air, that would be ridiculous. We should post used ones to No 10 in protest.

LilacTree1 · 28/04/2020 14:13

Orange I see. Depending on how vigilant the police are, I would not be able to get away with that.

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 28/04/2020 14:13

Lilac you can come visit me, "hey I'm Lilac "will be enough to get you through the door.Grin

Orangeblossom78 · 28/04/2020 14:19

The police seem to have buggered off from around here the last week or so, doubt you would see them to be honest. Just make something up, perhaps.

The masks kind of scare me, I don't like not seeing people's faces / expressions. I guess on buses or trains perhaps.

Pringletastic · 28/04/2020 14:33

Afternoon Movie Stars,

Can I have Penelope Cruz play me in the movie? She is just like me in the sense that we both have hair and are female, so it's a perfect fit. I would like to be portrayed wearing the pirate outfit from the POTC. I would also like Johnny Depp to play my DP, although with no allegations of behaving 'untoward' and less drinking and eye liner. Leave those last two to me Smile Wine

I was away from the computer for one day and I see Gilead has descended into a chaotic conspiracy discussion on clouds. That's just ridiculous. We all know Covid came from 5G and Bill Gates.

My kill rate and burn rate has been woeful of late. I have, however, consumed my weight in bread and eaten a large bar of peanutbutter chocolate, which was irresistible at the time, but has now made me feel really, really sick.

In other news, a friend had to go to A&E this morning (DIY accident, the idiot - hardly following The Roolz by Staying Home and not Protecting the NHS) and reported that it was absolutely empty and the staff on duty were practically falling over each other to help him as they had nothing else to do. I think he thinks he's some kind of hero now. Well, as long as he's happy. All those angles are now doomed, of course.

Blessed be the Fruit (today it's strawberry)

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 28/04/2020 14:40

Bit of a random one but hopefully it makes sense and you can help me out.

I've done all the mandatory courses so far, a few more that I have a personal in plus some others for subject knowledge. However I'm utterly bored of them now, they all start to be a bit samey ,repetitive and kinda same shit different platform.

So I'm asking you guys , what would you like or you think it would be helpful if your children's TA / teachers have knowledge of/training in?

There is something very weird about peanut butter chocs. They are addictive once you start then you feel you have eaten too much of it but you quickly forget and do it all again a few weeks later. The clever manufacturers have a secret ingredient somewhere that causes addiction and memory loss I reckon.

Hope your friend gave them all the clap before he left Pringle Wink

LilacTree1 · 28/04/2020 14:43

princess I can pretend to smoke in your garden! Grin

orange I think they're very much in evidence on London Transport.

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 28/04/2020 14:45

Everything is relevant and any ideas are welcome.

I'm genuinely looking for inspiration and what parents would find helpful for their kids. My private interests lie in SEN and pastoral care anyways, and communication is a big part of that.

My dd3 (now 15) (asd) did a social skills group throughout secondary school. It was fab. She loved it and it defintiely helped her.
