Anyone else thoroughly fucked off with it all? Never thought I would miss work and mundane stuff.

Ah I'm sure he is lovely, so he'd understand - even if it was just a couple of times a week?

Good luck with the ivy - one of the jobs on my list!

I'm fed up too. Live in flat and cannot use the communal garden because of the type of neighbours we have.
Right now listening to one neighbour sitting in the front garden (right outside my windows) talking on the phone on loud speaker to an equally annoyingly chavvy person, while her two brats scream and shout and hog the garden as per usual. I wish it would rain.
Then all I hear from upstairs is STOMP STOMP STOMP because they haven't learned how to tread lightly.
Then the neighbours out back constantly shout nd swear at each other and sit on my doorstep smoking weed.
And I had a panic attack last week because my family were making me feel guilty about being glad I can go somewhere remote for a walk (helps when you have depression and anxiety), because we lost my uncle in January and they don't want to lose anyone else which then made me feel so conflicted and led to me curling up in bed and crying all afternoon.
Then on monday as I was going to the shop I my car wouldn't start so that set me off and I called my mum, sobbing like a crazy lady. When that had calmed, I walked to the shop instead and when it came to paying I knew how much money I had in my bank acc that morning but my card declined and sent me into another meltdown in which I had to call my mum again and ask if she could transfer in some money so I could pay for my shopping (which was less that £20, but I hate asking still).
I've not been at work in about 6 weeks as my son had chickenpox before lockdown and I miss it but don't at the same time.

AIBU to buy noise cancelling headphones and start wearing them all day to shut out the sounds of my family?

I think for those of us who like a lot of time alone, being locked down with others is really hard. Though of course I appreciate it's hard for everyone in different ways. The whole situation sucks.

Who is micro horse?

Yes I've read similar about the effects of classical music Dowser. I can assure you I'm not aggressive or a criminal, just a frustrated introvert finding the lack of silence and solitude difficult! Grin
