China must have majorly downplayed their figures, right?

We are now over 5,000 deaths and China just over 3,000. This isn't even possible is it, how have they managed to cover up their true numbers here?

and this was reported to WHO on the end of December, or 3rd Jan.This data should be able to be checked on WHO website. I know American certainly was briefed on this at the beginning of Jan

On December 30th when Doctor Li Wenliang warned his medical colleagues about the novel virus, he was forced to confess to illegal behaviour by the police. The virus had been first noted back in November, according to some reports. The lockdown did not happen until January 23rd. Travel from China during this period continued as normal. That coincided with peak ski season in Europe. This virus is now a global health emergency. There are questions to be asked about the initial response to this virus Everyone on the planet affected by this has every right to ask those questions. And query the official narrative. And its proponents.

Yes, and questions are being asked.

Well, I am not sure how can you make a decision on lock down a big city based on a few cases without find out what it is first.

They were clearly told it was a Sars type virus by the scientist they tried to silence. They then waited a month to take any measures to stop its spread.

And this was reported to WHO on the end of December, or 3rd Jan.This data should be able to be checked on WHO website.

The leader of the WHO is facing calls to resign for blindly repeating information from China's authorities on the virus instead of scrutinising it as he should have done- the WHO is largely reliant on China for funding.

@ticklemeelmo
The WHO is largely reliant on China for funding.

Yet more anti-Chinese misinformation easily disprovable if you'd taken even ten seconds to look it up.
Chinese contributions to WHO are less than 10% of what the US government pays. If you take into account non-governmental support (like voluntary donations from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and other American charities), China pays less than 2.5% of what the US contributes to WHO.

The WHO is far more reliant on the USA than China. They'd hardly notice if China pulled their funding entirely, whereas if Trump follows through with his threat to de-fund the WHO they would struggle to survive.

The WHO is not "largely reliant on China for funding." Stop getting your information from Facebook memes.
