The difference in how the U.K. numbers shadow the Italian ones could be down to events, couldn't it?
So any big event that had a lot of mixing will cause a spike. Our spike could be earlier or later, according to when big events were held.

No we had a Coronavirus update with lots of questions and then interviews.

Well, that's seems like a good time to announce a lockdown...

I assume people must still be getting tested?. A pub local to me just reported a positive case and they are self isolating at home.

It's got to get lockdown surely. He is waiting till the majority are home from work, most supermarkets have changed their times to close about 8 ish so no run on them, and boom almost instant shutdown.

Has everyone who has to be shielded received a text message?

My MIL has chronic leukaemia lymphoma, COPD and heart issues. I understood from the NHS guidance that she would be part of the 1.5mill who would be shielded.

But she's yet to receive one. Just wondered if it's texts and letters or just texts?
