would you:

meet a group of friends in a cafe
go to the hairdresser
go to dentist for check up
go to clubs and classes

In other words are you cancelling routine social stuff?

I am concerned as have two extended family members who may need me to support them.

None of the above!

Chemist and/or supermarket.

Mylittlepony374 · 14/03/2020 20:50

None of above

hollieberrie · 14/03/2020 20:51

I'm still doing all of the above

Dazedandconfused10 · 14/03/2020 20:52

Not cancelled any routine stuff yet.

Tennisp · 14/03/2020 20:52

I'd do all except the latter at the moment. No big groups where people are in close proximity to each other. Saying that I'm meeting friends for lunch tomorrow in a cafe. I think it might be the last chance to see them for a while as it looks like we'll all be inside next week.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 14/03/2020 20:54

We’re still working as normal, so unless that changes I am just carrying on. I got my hair cut this afternoon, then went for coffee in a cafe. After that I went to pick up a parcel from Zara, and to M&S. The shops were busy, but more like weekday busy than Saturday.

funmummy48 · 14/03/2020 20:55

I'm doing all of the above as are all of my friends & colleagues. We're going out for a meal together next week. The only thing I'm not doing, is panicking.

IdentifyasTired · 14/03/2020 20:55

None of the above as of a few days ago.

AccountAntsy · 14/03/2020 20:55

I’m doing all of the above.

bulletjournalbilly · 14/03/2020 20:56

Doing all the above

bulletjournalbilly · 14/03/2020 20:57

If you're going to work everyday on public transport what is the difference?

georgialondon · 14/03/2020 20:59

I'm Carrying on as normal

Sahara123 · 14/03/2020 20:59

All of the above as is everyone else I know.

ParkheadParadise · 14/03/2020 20:59

I'm doing all of the above.

bigchris · 14/03/2020 21:00

I'm carrying on as before until the government decide what to do with the public buildings I work in ( a public sector worker ), my kids are getting school buses still, me going shopping today is helping the economy

JinglingHellsBells · 14/03/2020 21:00

I am inclined not to go to my clubs (held in cafes/pubs) partly as sitting in close proximity to other people who may be carriers but not showing yet or the staff serving may be infected (touching food and crockery/ utensils.)

I am hoping to go to hairdressers and dentist unless either changes their policy.

bigchris · 14/03/2020 21:01

I'll keep sending them to aftersch clubs etc until they're closed

If they are going to be home 3 weeks over Easter I'd rather they got some exercise in now !

JinglingHellsBells · 14/03/2020 21:02

@bulletjournalbilly I am self employed and work from home. I rarely use public transport.

LaurieFairyCake · 14/03/2020 21:02

I can't cancel the hairdresser and physio appointments I booked over a month ago

But I won't make any more

I'm most pissed off that I'm paying £180 a month (tied into contract) for mine and Dh's gym - I don't feel safe to go to that humid atmosphere

I want to cancel but can't.

fitflopqueen · 14/03/2020 21:02

stopped external activities bar food shopping as have elderly parents both sides and they are now staying home. lucky to be rural and out for long walks everyday, just my social activity curtailing.

Piplette · 14/03/2020 21:03

Carrying on as normal for the moment as per government guidelines but monitoring the situation and making decisions on a day by day basis.

This week so far I've been to dentist, been to several baby classes with my 5 month old, taken the 5 year old to her classes, socialised with friends. I've noticed an abundance of hand sanitizer in the venues and classes are much quieter so people are definitely starting to stay away. I fully expect in the next week or two everything will be cancelled.

JinglingHellsBells · 14/03/2020 21:03

@bigchris I was talking about adults. I have a parent in their 90s and a DH who was seriously ill not long ago.

TheWordmeister · 14/03/2020 21:03

Today I went to a gym class and dh went to his gym.

DS did parkrun.

Other dc went to Waitrose.

Dh and I met some friends in a pub for lunch. We had to queue for a table.

everythingisginandroses · 14/03/2020 21:05

I'm not coming on this board anymore. Bye!

bemoreeverything · 14/03/2020 21:06

I'm not going to my Slimming World group on Monday because I ate three Easter eggs just in case!
