Anyone else worried about the huge surge of people who have now left the red zones in Italy?

I can't understand why ANYONE was allowed to leave the red zone. It defeats the object and makes it optional.

There are 16 additional confirmed cases of #Coronavirus in New York State, bringing total to #covid19 cases to 105.

especially the demand for ICU

Worst case scenarios are always used in the modelling of viral outbreak.

I hope you are reading this, as undoubtedly yhere will be pedalling back, because it IS worst case scenario.

CMO has said 80% worst case scenario. They have to use this to plan so as not to fall over, or else plan to fall over!

Data experience, development of treatment and protocols, should bring this down.

We have more information and development to base our attack on.

This is worrying:

• Vice-Rector of Thessaloniki Uni says there is already a cure for COVID-19 but "they are purposefully hiding it"

And there is a huge risk that they may want to go around spreading it in revenge.

Is it only me who thinks something has been very wrong in Italy for a long time?

So many cases in the UK are linked to Italy.

Why is it so bad there?

JUST IN: Netherlands reports 77 new cases of coronavirus, 265 cases in total.

Netherlands' largest single increase so far.

All countries in Europe will be the same as Italy in the next couple of weeks...

It's nothing that they have done wrong as far as I can see, just bad luck that they're going first.

Perhaps it had spread to Italy not long after Wuhan, and had been incubating there for much longer than realised?

If you don’t have symptoms in the red zone you might well want to get out thinking you’re more at risk.

Poor Italy must be hard atm.
