They will be floating lots of possibilities today to get the masses used to the options for social distancing.
Some people will want everything shut down ASAP to minimised spread, some will think it's overreacting, damaging to the economy and too draconian. There will be discussions about pros and cons.
When the numbers rise, people will accept the measures which interfere with their lives if they have heard about them in advance, rather than a sudden change.
The government will want it to appear the measures have the backing of the majority, so they don't have to enforce them For a lot of people they will need to see bigger numbers before they accept the necessity of shutdowns.
For me, seeing other countries situations is enough, I would accept stopping people being together in large groups from today. For others, it needs to be a problem here before it is concerning.
