It includes the political context behind the enactment of the Death Penalty for Terrorists law, how the law is incompatible with international law and Israeli constitutional law, and the potential application of the law to perpetrators of the Oct 7 massacre.

A real low on a thread here was a poster very explicitly condoning the rape of Palestinian prisoners. The post was eventually removed and I’m assuming the poster has name changed. It stood for quite some time. Revolting.

Chilling is the right word to use.
12 year olds (especially those who have been traumatized and displaced multiple times) should never be executed under criminal responsibility. I teach that age and we all know how absolutely impulsive they are and their awareness of long term consequences.

Plus we know the IDF are liars. Like the two young brothers who they shot at the yellow line who were completely unarmed .(Note this was also justified by many posters on here)

I too hope @Boolabus that amendments are made to the death penalty excluding children

i would also expect the right to appeal to be added
the right to translations
the right to legal council
the exclusion of all other countries
equality in sentencing and method of trial for all citizens

I said that dogs are not being trained to rape humans. Because that's an implausible claim that requires some actual evidence.

As George Orwell said, "one of the marks of antisemitism is an ability to believe stories that could not possibly be true." Dogs being trained to rape is one such.

I think anyone who believes wild claims like that needs to give themselves a serious critical thinking check. Go look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself, 'why am I so ready to believe a crazy story like this?' and then maybe take some time to actually find out the truth rather than believing any and every piece of propaganda out there.

Yeah I’ve never seen anything saying that on MN and I was apparently on the thread in question yesterday.

We see so many examples of our words getting twisted and other peoples words getting twisted, I just can’t believe these recollections anymore.

If something that shocking was said, multiple people on the thread would be challenging it before it got deleted.

Sorry - are you saying that you believe that there ARE dogs trained to rape Palestinians?
Because what I did was express scepticism about THAT claim, and yet you requoted that as evidence that posters were "denying sexual violence".

So unless you think that dogs DO rape detainees, my post is not evidence of denying sexxual violence.
