Dont worry. As those respondents get older and start to think about things a bit more deeply, question themselves and their assumptions, learn to see the world in less black and white terms- a good few of them will become a bit more sympathetic to Israel's situation. Tale as old as time.

Don’t kid yourself, it’s not just one age group. People of all ages can see what’s happening- and you don’t need to be under 30 to call out the killing of tens of thousands of children and civilians. Which you appear to be justifying.

'But equally the left’s absolute failure to acknowledge Oct 7, apart from saying ‘it didn’t start there…’ and to treat slaughtered Jewish families as nothing more than an inconvenience, is contemptible'

It is contemptible. We've had posters on these threads saying 'they're sick of hearing about the hostages', 'they aren't relevant' Shock, sick of Oct 7th and apparently 'yes but hamas' is a snorefest too.

It's living in cuckoo land at this stage. How anyone can still support the genocidal Israeli assault is beyond me.

I support getting rid of terrorists. So should you.

Sadly they still haven't surrendered.

And yet funnily enough fighting ISIS and Al Qaeeda didn't recruit more terrorists into their ranks. I didn't see anyone on these boards saying we shouldn't fight back against them or their children would come after us.

What's so special about Palestinians that you expect them to be more easily radicalised than other people?

dairydebris · 01/10/2025 20:41

God. If I had cash for everytime someone on here suggested I enjoy justifying the death of children I'd be rich! Rich I tell you!

Funnily enough no one who knows me in real life thinks I justify the death of children.

Perhaps if you kept it a little less personal youd get less deletions? Something to consider.

Gn.

The majority of the people killed by the government you support are Palestinian civilians though, 70% women and children.

Cities weren’t blanket bombed when fighting ISIS to the point that 92% of homes were flattened, kids weren’t shot by snipers in the head and in the genitals. War crimes were committed and innocent people died but not on this massive scale - that is why the majority of human rights organisations along with many western governments have called this a genocide.

Thankfully a lot of people never have supported it or have changed their minds as the horror unfolded.

Additionally many people are no longer doing the left right divide (all parties fuck us over and can be easily influenced). People can see that some people are trying to push false narratives in order to forment discord and anger.

Take Charlie Kirk's murder, a lot of the same people who have continually denied what has been happening in Gaza as FAFO, Pallywood or justified tried to hijack the narrative, make Kirk a "martyr" and launch a war on the "left".

Thankfully as their actions were so well documented through the last 2 years they failed and the youngins both left and right called them out. Influencers from both the left and right have joined together and said nope, not today.

For some weird reason after Kirk's death, Hitler praising racist white supremacist Nick Fuentes was invited on to some popular and mostly pro Israeli podcasts for interviews. Listen to these young men call him out for being paid by AIPAC and call for unity. The kids aren't stupid. 5.1 million views.

And the blame for that lies with Hamas for embedding themselves amongst civilians. At least Al Qaeeda and ISIS had the decency not to do that, whereas Hamas have said they're willing to martyr every last civilian. International organisations like NATO have written reports on it. Hamas are barbaric and the only hope for Palestinians now lies with the international community applying pressure on Hamas to accept this peace deal

They must be stupid, why would AIPAC fund a Hitler loving white supremacist? That's really taking anti-Jewish conspiracies a bit too far, but conspiracy theorists have never been known for being rational. Flat earth anyone 🤣

The IDF live in the community, by your logic a country could legitimately carpet bomb Israel because the IDF have embedded themselves amongst civilians. Could a hospital be bombed because it is treating IDF soldiers, could a housing estate, an apartment block. These soldiers have shot infants in the head, shot them in the genitals, murdered doctors, journalists and then they go back and embed themselves in the community. So Israeli schools, hospitals, houses are all legitimate targets??

It's a valid point. The IDF are intertwined in every part of Israeli society. Does that legitimise carpet bombing Israel?

It is your logic. Is this not war. Do civilians not die in war. Or is it just Palestinians that are acceptable war targets.

Of course he's funded by AIPAC, some random american children said he is on tiktok and then an antisemite posted it on twitter. What more reliable source of information is there?

Stupid or not, untrue or not what they're saying is what a lot of young people are saying in America since Kirk's murder.

It's been fascinating watching a large group of MAGA (traditionally the most pro Israel demographic) openly accusing Israel of being involved. Not helped by Netanyahu repeatedly denying involvement. https://www.newsweek.com/netanyahu-israel-charle-kirk-monstrous-lie-2131663

It's almost like boasting about assassinating lot's of people around the world means that folk may ask whether you were involved in the latest high profile assassination.

Netanyahu rejects "lie" over Kirk

Israel's Netanyahu rejects "monstrous big lie" over Charlie Kirk

The prime minister's statement comes as conservatives debate Kirk's attitude to Israel's leader.

‘But Hamas hides among civilians!’ isn’t a legal defence, it’s an excuse. International law still requires Israel to differentiate between combatants and civilians. When 70% of the dead are women and children, you can drop the pretence- it’s not ‘urban warfare,’ it’s indiscriminate slaughter.

Starving 2 million people and using drones on children doesn’t exactly scream ‘careful targeting,’ does it?

Incorrect. International law allows for urban warfare and enemy combatants hiding within a civilian population

Israel aren't very good at starving a population if they're also running an aid programme for that population. In fact they're the only country in the world to provide aid to people they're at war with.

Drones on children? Where are you getting that info from, the Gazan 'health ministry'? 😂

With all due respect, this is a huge reach.

However, to be serious, there was no discrimination on Oct 7 - soldiers, civilians, men, women, children, Jews, Arabs, Israelis, foreign nationals were indiscriminately attacked - and Hamas’s rockets and terrorist attacks on Israel since make no attempt to discriminate between military and civilian targets. So I guess in a sense you are correct - and lest we forget, it is the stated aim of Hamas to destroy Israel, repeating Oct 7 again and again.

Incorrect. International law does not give a blank cheque for civilian massacres. it requires distinction and proportionality. That’s why the ICJ, UN investigators, and multiple human rights bodies have said Israel may be committing war crimes.

As for aid: trickling in a few trucks after deliberately blocking food, water, and medicine isn’t ‘humanitarian’, it’s siege warfare. Starvation is explicitly banned under international law.

Drones- documented by Amnesty, HRW, and even Israeli sources. One of the most reported cases was 9-year-old Almna, killed by an Israeli drone strike whilst carrying water for her family. Laughing at dead children isn’t a great look- maybe stick to google before the emoji.
