Because it’s not deliberate slaughter. We know Hamas use civilians as human shields. We know they hide in hospitals and schools. We know they don’t care about Palestinians. We know they steal aid and food and live luxury lifestyles in other Arab countries away from the horrors of the war. We know they want the complete annihilation of Israel and the Jewish people. We know they will attack Israel again and again with the backing of Iran if they are allowed to regain control of Gaza. We know all these things, and yet you cannot bring yourself to blame anyone but Israel.

Blaming Israel suggests the blame is on all Israeli people. It isn’t !

We blame
Netanyahu and his Government and all Israeli Governments before that who encouraged and sanctioned the mass ill treatment of the Palestinian people.

We blame Netanyahu in particular for his desire to take Gaza for Israel and name it as such
This was his plan ….always and before October 7th

Montysmoon · 22/08/2025 18:41

Such a shame Hamas don’t use the billions they receive from Qatar to put towards feeding Palestinians and rebuilding their homes.

Well, they had hospitals and schools, mosques, homes, universities, a stadium, agriculture, water systems, electricity - all that will need to be replaced. Obviously not by Hamas as they shouldn’t be governing, should they? So should help these poor, traumatised, displaced people?

I would start with their neighbour and the country who caused the most harm to that infrastructure. Israel has flattened Gaza. Israel has cut off aid and then limited it. They say they are saving Palestinians from Hamas so why not feed them and help them rebuild the land they destroyed?

I sleep fine at night knowing a terrorist state will soon be beaten and the gazans will hopefully live in peace.

Israel decides if Palestinians live in peace. The ball is in their court.

Except for the Palestinians it feels a lot like this...

The Palestinian people, having been robbed of their land, have a right to self determination and statehood. How do Israeli apologists suggest they should go about this, given that willingness to negotiate never got them anywhere, and they do not have an army or other means of retaliation?

Their terrorist leaders have turned down their own state a number of times. Imagine if all those years ago they agreed to their own state and built it up to prosper just like Israel did. Both countries living alongside each other building their respective countries up rather than one holding hand out for aid whilst their terrorist leaders live in billionaire luxury in other Arab countries. It's pretty disgusting actually. Failed miserably by their own people who lead them.

Don't forget that they started building an airport. Israel destroyed it. They started building a port. Israel destroyed it.

This is when they were at 'peace'.

allusernamesaretakennow · 22/08/2025 18:50

Why would countries (well apart from the usual Terrorist run ones) want to invade Israel? Would that make you happy? Very strange comment.

No Ukraine shouldn't surrender to Putin's invasion. Again strange comment makes no sense in light of why Israel launched a war on Hamas compared to why Putin invaded his neighbour who didn't launch a mass terrorist and kidnapping free for all on it's neighbour.

None of what you have said makes any sense at all no matter what political leaning one might have.

Putin invading Ukraine and Netanyahu invading Gaza have many similarities

They both want the neighbouring land

As Israel has said, their war aims are to get hostages returned, destroy Hamas and replace with a new governing entity that isn’t radical fundamentalist islamists who want to destroy it. This is also what the US wants, and also what a lot of the Arab world wants - Egypt, the UAE etc.

Do you seriously think that was Netanyahus plan from the beginning

The did indeed as you say have "Well, they had hospitals and schools, mosques, homes, universities, a stadium, agriculture, water systems, electricity - all that will need to be replaced." built with aid from other countries whilst their 'leaders' took any money raised in Gaza for their own ends, continued with the hatred of wanting the entire area, lobbed missiles endlessly into Israel, launched terrorist attacks and then when an all out war came hid amongst it's people and refused to give the hostages up or surrender. What a bunch of vile leaders those poor people have. Hamas still hang on by their fingertips refusing to go. I wish they'd sod off and let the Gazans elect a new better government (couldn't possibly any worse that Hamas).

SaltAirAndTheRust · 22/08/2025 19:01

Some of the stories coming out about this are heartbreaking

'My youngest child doesn't know what fruit tastes like': Gaza residents on famine https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cz602wvjv7lo

A small crying boy, dirty with mud, holds a bowl up in search of food. Behind him more people are visible also looking for food.

Gaza residents: 'My youngest child doesn't know what fruit tastes like'

A UN-backed body says more than half a million people across Gaza are facing "starvation, destitution and death".

Netenyahu doesn’t want the land. He wants to free the land of terrorists who could commit another October 7th atrocity.

I would say Netanyahu and his Government causing a Famine in Gaza are definitely up there as vile creatures.
Including the Israelis that stand at the ‘gates’ and try and stop aid getting in

It's deliberate slaughter which people try to excuse by saying 'yeah but Hamas' - as I said before, we're way past that. And by 'we' I mean rational sentient people, not pro-Israel Speak-Your-Cliche bots.

We are are still on the but Hamas rhetoric, are we. As for bots, try thinking beyond that lazy assumption.

Your post makes me sick. Pure holocaust inversion. Read a book. Learn what happened in nazi Germany. It bears no comparison to the situation in the current war, triggered by a genocidal attack by Hamas.

Montysmoon · 22/08/2025 18:15

Because if Israel wanted to commit genocide they could kill every Palestine tomorrow. Please use your brain. Hamas is stealing food and aid from their own people because they don’t give a flying f* about them.

This is a terribly sad situation but please educate yourself on who is to blame for this war.

Perhaps you should educate your self. Here's a clue.. It didn't start on Oct 7 2023

Really?!!
You have no recollection of the UN general assembly in September 2023 !

You know when Netanyahu wiped Gaza off the map and replaced it with Israel.

Shall I repeat the date
22nd September 2023

A famine has been declared in Gaza city

One of the worst things I've seen in this genocide is some young men stamping on baby formula as it was waiting to enter Gaza. They must have believed that the infants were Hamas members🙄.such hatred

Agree
I really think mentioning or making comparisons with the Holocaust is inapropriate

Journalists have reported having to weigh the food they take in to the gram, so that they can’t take spares to hand to Palestinians
