It wasn’t. My god, Israel isn’t the centre of the universe!!!! UEFA were coming under fire because perhaps the most famous footballer in the league called them out. It’s that simple.

Salah did not tell them what to say at all. UEFA posted an absurdly pathetic tweet saying “farewell”. No mention of the fact he was shot dead while getting aid. Salah said “can you tell us how he died, where and why?”. That’s all. No mention of Israel killing children or civilians.

The question is why did he selectively speak out? We know you think the hostages are irrelevant and maybe he does too but most people don't.
