Palestine Action demo 9 August

To my amazement, last night I discovered that some posters on MN think that "radical Islam" means simply "Muslim" 😬

I wonder if this explains why so many are unconcerned about who might be pulling the strings behind the "peace" rallies that were first organised on 7 October? Do they know what radical Islam is, how powerful it is, that it is widely acknowledged as the greatest threat to UK national security, that its intentions are clearly stated, that it is 10000000% different than simply observing Muslim faith?

Palestine Action are planning a rally in central London on Saturday and hope to overwhelm the police presence. Is anyone concerned about this? I'm worried that the seeds of civil unrest are being sown, without it being entirely clear who is sowing them.

Yeah I read it. And all it showed me was a quote by the organisers about huge numbers showing up so that the police can't arrest them all.
And the fact that there is going to be a high Court challenge on the legitimacy of the ban.

Not that link... this one 😊

I'm far more concerned about the thugs that turn up outside hotels where they think asylum seekers might be staying. The Yaxley Lennon supporters, they scare me,I am not scared by peaceful people holding placards saying they are against genocide.

Nasty thugs for sure but how many people have they killed? Islamic fundamentalism has killed well over 100 people in the UK since the Millennium, and many more overseas including within Muslim countries.

Martymcfly24 · 06/08/2025 10:47

Islamist Terrorism1 can be described as terrorist violence motivated by a political id"eology seeking the imposition of Sharia Law and the establishment of an Islamic Caliphate."

That's what Palestine Action are aiming for?

AzurePanda · 06/08/2025 10:48

@Martymcfly24 in the case of the US protests it was the same tent and coordinated water bottles and food deliveries en masse etc. Who’s funding it? Well it’s a shame nobody seems interested enough to try and find out.

JamesMacGill · 06/08/2025 10:50

Martymcfly24 · 06/08/2025 10:02

Is that Stop Oil group a proscribed terrorist group? They seem to employ similar techniques.

No because their overriding aim isn’t inherently political or part of an extremist belief system. They just campaign on a single policy issue. I dislike their tactics and think they’re hypocrites in many cases but I wouldn’t call it terrorism. I don’t feel terrified of them, I do feel terrified of Islamism.

Dangermoo · 06/08/2025 10:51

Obeseandashamed · 06/08/2025 10:31

I think part of the issue is a lot of people genuinely believe being muslim is being radical. Just stop oil have done similar things in the past but aren’t deemed to be a terror organisation.

That's because there ARE Islamic radicals. The foiled Iranian attack, tells you a lot. Stop oil idiots, are two bit clowns, who love to throw red paint over things. That's when they aren't endangering individual lives. Islamic extremists are a threat to our national security. Any westerners, hanging off their coat tails, don't realise what they are really representing and who they are helping. It's pointless to keep repeating this because it won't be believed. I've just had a bellyfull on another thread.

Yes!

George Soros, I believe the interfering shit stirring Liberal billionaire. He was also behind the BLM riots protests. then youve got Qatar, for example, giving billions to France.

MissyB1 · 06/08/2025 10:55

Dangermoo · 06/08/2025 09:59

You're not concerned at terrorists, who seek to immobilise UK military aircraft?

No I’m not. Like I said I’m much more scared of the “we hate immigrants/refugees /asylum seekers” mob. Remember Southport?

Martymcfly24 · 06/08/2025 10:56

Dangermoo · 06/08/2025 10:52

Yes!

Palestine Actions aim is to introduce Sharia Law in Britain, correct?

Yes I do. I also remember the covering up of Rotherham. That was conducive to the furore among the Southport murderer. I don't look at this in isolation, as I don't with the ME conflict.

You're looking at this through the lens of westerners, protesting on the streets, to stop a humanitarian crisis. Who do you think is behind PAG? I'm not saying it's as simple as rolling out Sharia law across Europe, but I believe there still remains a mission for Islamic dominance - not by moderate Muslims. It's what happened in the ME centuries ago. The problem is, you're then told you're being islamophobic - which is exactly what pro pals do, at the same time as complaining they are wrongfully accused of antisemitism.

Same tents and water bottles...oh my God seriously.

I'm sure if Trump wanted to find out he could. After all he brought in a law the other night that states that boycott Israel would not get funding for disasters (changed his mind quickly about that one.) . Now thats a lot more worrying than some water bottles

I hope you also remember that, if we ever go to war. You are minimising the tampering of UK aircraft and that is worrying. The government took it very seriously and it should tell you everything, by how quickly PAG went on the terrorist list.

That is a lot of words for a yes or no answer.

So the group has nothing to do with stopping the slaughter of Palestinians just introducing Sharia Law.
(Did the tell the non Muslim members that?, seems they are being hoodwinked into thinking it's about not killing children)

There's a lot of ME money splashing about in real estate and universities, utilities etc it makes sense to diversify if oil revenue potentially dwindles

Education is a particularly effective target if you want to influence society. Carnegie wanted people to learn so he funded libraries, if you target what people learn you can change the world.

Anyway, enough derailing..

They are quite easily hoodwinked. I'm off now because I saw enough on the other thread, which got deleted. I'm not doing another day on this.

Sorry I just realized you said they all have the same tent .. Aldi Special Buy???

Edited

Middle of LIDL actually, right next to the keffiyehs & balaclavas.

Why? Can you clarify how they are more dangerous?

AzurePanda · 06/08/2025 11:23

@Martymcfly24 well ok, you’ve just stated that you’re entirely indifferent to the probability that protests in western countries are being coordinated and funded by offshore interests. I wonder whether you’d feel the same if it was a “far right” movement?

Of course they wouldn’t

The far right is nowhere near the threat Islamism is, and they know this. It just doesn’t fit their imaginary worldview of globalisation and multiculturalism.

Aaah you don’t remember Southport then… look it up. Also their sheer level of hatred, whereas I don’t find a placard calling for killing and starvation to end very threatening or hateful.

Do you remember 9/11? 7/7? Manchester Arena? London Bridge? David Amess? And the many other, smaller scale deadly attacks that have been happening since the millenium? And you’re going to bring up 1 episode of rioting during which thankfully nobody died? You must be having a laugh.

AzurePanda · 06/08/2025 11:36

@JamesMacGill not to mention the two young Jewish people recently shot dead in Washington DC and the holocaust survivor set alight. Both incidents explicitly in the name of “Free Palestine” according to the perpetrators.
