Conflict in the Middle East

Many pro-Palestinians DO actually support Hamas

There I said it.

Obviously they won’t come out and admit it, for fear of exposing themselves as supporters of evil, and also because they worry that they may be traced as it is supposedly illegal to support Hamas, as a proscribed terrorist group.

The evidence is all there -

The blind belief in the blatant Hamas propaganda which defies sense and logic.

The demonising descriptive language used to describe Israel.

The insistence that a war Israel didn’t start justifies Israeli and Jewish people around the work being persecuted, attacked and even murdered.

The protests against Israel but not Hamas who actually started the war.

The complete lack of interest or outrage in the Israeli hostages who actually included children and and a baby.

The calls for immediate ceasefire since the war started with no calls for Hamas to surrender.

The complete lack of accountability for Hamas and Palestinians in general.

I cannot fathom that anyone with a sane mind would support evil, barbaric murderers and rapists who also actively want to get their own civilians killed, and kill them themselves, so can we assume that for these people, their hatred of Israel and the Jewish people is greater than their care for human life as a whole.

A genuine question.

@Voxon @Weltall I was referring to the ‘beheaded’ babies, should have made that more clear.. You can do your own research as again, major news outlets backtracked after reporting ‘beheaded’ babies were killed by hamas.

Again to clarify, the current child murderers are the IDF and I’m glad the world is waking up and realising this.

Many thanks

This pops up repeatedly on MN.

The extreme nature of the violence made it hard for responders collecting (what they could find of) victims' bodies to interpret what they were actually looking at. Many were mutilated, and the "beheaded babies" story resulted from a pile of tiny charred corpses without heads. As the pathologists later explained, burning reduces the body to a much smaller size, and they would never be able to ascertain whether the heads had been removed before burning or fell off during the process.

But, you go right ahead if you prefer to present all this as lies. I hope you never have to pick your way through scenes of unprecedented terrorist brutality and try to work out WTF just happened.

Oh, and whoever they were, and whatever happened to them, are you saying they were not killed by Hamas?

No, you weren't referring to that. You said with complete clarity that no children were murdered on October 7 and thankfully your disgusting post was deleted.

I have made myself clear, and you seem to not have anything to do in life other than sit on mumsnet and argue. So again, I will bow out and you carry on arguing with yourself now ☺️

Yes you did make yourself clear. We all read exactly what you wrote. Bye bye.

It's interesting watching the visceral reactions of people when they feel that the truth of what happened to Israelis isn't believed. It's a stark contrast to the continual prove it, if its not on camera it didn't happen and even if it is on camera then it didn't happen how it appears to have happened, Palestinians are liars and have been for decades(an argument someone used just the other day), every organisation is anti Israel and that's why they say X, y and z etc that floats around here every day.

We believe you unless you are Palestinian, then film your own deaths so we can come up with new excuses for why you needed to be killed and then insinuate that you have no respect for your dead because you film them for 'propaganda'.

It's also interesting that mumsnet deleted the post denying that Israeli children were killed when 100s of posts containing the same the other way around are left up with more being added every day.

No, I haven't seen any posts denying that children have been killed in Gaza. I've seen some posts querying dubious sources. This is a propaganda war as much as a physical one, and Hamas have exploited Western social media to this purpose. They have clearly managed to convince a lot of people (as shown here!) that 7 Oct wasn't all that bad, and/or was partly made up by Israeli "lies", and/or no more than Israel "deserved" for centuries of oppression / apartheid / whatever (insert buzzword of choice).

Where are the 100s of posts denying that Palestinian children have got killed in the war?

Why wouldn't MN delete the post denying that Israeli children were killed? Weird that would irritate you enough to comment on it.

Weird that you assume I'm irritated rather than making an observation on the atrocity denial that is pervasive on this board and beyond. I'm not irritated at all, I find the pro Israel mindset fascinating being honest, I've never seen anything quite like it before and was making an observation 'out loud'.

Sure you were. Anyway, where are the 100s of posts denying that Palestinian children have got killed in the war?

I was talking generally about atrocity denial. Like rape and torture denial, posters saying things like they have heard of no rapes or torture other than those commited by Hamas. Or there are a multitude of posters who deny that children are being targeted by the IDF despite the multiple witness testimonies, they want to see videos of little children being shot by quadcopters because Drs and Palestinian civillians can't be believed. Imagine for instance if people were asking for photos of the Bibas children because they didn't believe how they were killed? What people are doing with Palestinian children is exactly the same thing but they don't see that because of how they view Israeli children vs Palestinian children. Like I said it's fascinating.

'The same' being denials. It's great that you are just nitpicking rather than refuting that the board is riddled with atrocity denials and double standards when it comes to Palestinians though.

Is antisemitism is rare on these marches, how come so many people are clapping and cheering this?
