Once again you're telling half a story and yet others here are accused of showing a lack of balance

It’s always half a story. Israel does need to protect itself against extremists but some posters also fail to account for how its own actions don’t and haven’t supported peace either, only viewing things through a very pro- Israeli lens. For example, we only need to see how actions currently in Gaza do not win Israel friends in the region. But it’s an argument that has been hashed out multiple times and never the twain shall meet. It’s pointless arguing with people who themselves fail to see the nuances of the situation and take into account Palestinian perspectives.

However, I don’t think the idea that US is going to run out of will to provide spare cash for the region is that far fetched. I’d give it a couple of decades actually - when the older generations are no longer here. Let’s hope we have a 2SS before then - for Israel’s sake.

Agree Stripes America has given $305.4 Billion (adjusted for inflation) to Israel since 1951.

72% ($222 Billion) specifically allocated for Military spending.

America currently has a debt of $37 Trillion. The general American Public opinion on Israel us trending negatively.

The will to be the world's police has died.

Just look at the pushback Trump got for striking Iran. 20 years ago it would have been "Yay, Go America" but so much blood of America's children has been spilt with veterans being treated like shit when they return, that loads are saying enough already, no more foreign wars for other people's interests.
