Defense Minister Israel Katz said Monday that he has instructed the IDF to prepare a plan to establish a "humanitarian city" on the ruins of Rafah, which would eventually house the entire population of the Gaza Strip.

According to Katz, the plan involves moving 600,000 Palestinians, primarily from the al-Muwasi area, into the new zone after security screening. Once inside, residents would not be allowed to leave, the defense minister said.

Katz added that, if conditions permit, construction of the "city" would begin during the 60-day Israel-Hamas cease-fire currently under negotiation.

I could have told you that you would have been wasting your time, Forges.

The more facts you provide, the more abuse you will get. The pro Pals don’t want you providing yet more evidence that what you say is factually correct. You irritate them greatly it seems with your knowledge and I noticed that you were even criticised for having a degree in Genocide Studies. There is no evidence in the world that you could provide that would make a difference to what some people choose to believe.

As my mother in law says to me (she’s a strong Christian, I’m atheist) “I don’t need facts, I’ve got faith”.

Interesting article here on the wealth of information Israel has on Palestinians through the digital control they have.

Shows how there should be no need for children to be targeted in any way because they do know who and where the bad guys are.

Thanks Marty. We’ve heard in the news about these ‘blackouts’ before. What I didn’t appreciate was that it is concidered yet another breach of International Human Rights Law.

Martymcfly24 · 17/07/2025 12:09

Agree @DrPrunesqualer its another breach of human rights by exerting control over the basics.

What frightened me was the amount of tracking that is done on Palestinan citizens which shows that the strikes on homes like the doctor who lost ten children or the doctor who was killed along her 3 day old twins were definitely targeted.

I think that’s a very fare assumption. All these direct hits can’t be mistakes or excuses as ‘but Hamas’ were there. It’s all about taking down infrastructure and means for survival,of which doctors are a very important part of that. It’s a means to an end in the ‘grand plan’.

It's not only Palestinians, it's all of us around the world who use certain apps. The phone that most people carry everywhere is very easily weaponised via spyware to turn into a surveillance device.

Unfortunately just like with new weapons, Palestine is just the "testing ground" to perfect the surveillance techniques. It's easier to do it to people over there who are all labelled as "terrorists", cos they'd never do that to people who complain about Government policy here, right?

We are told that China restricts the Internet and certain apps to exert control over their population (which is true to a lesser extent) when it's likely that part of the reason they do it too is to stop their citizens being spied on.

A lot of the Iranian General's who were killed in the recent conflict used WhatsApps (implicated in the Pegusus spyware scandal).

Digital privacy rights are going to be extremely important in the future.

So most of the time governments spy on people it's sinister but when China do it it's for people's own protection?

Because it's not like China would ever carry out a genocide on its own citizens. Oh wait, you dont actually think they are.

Nope, all governments spy on their citizens and other governments.

The West labels China doing this as "sinister" all whilst surveiling their own citizens and weaponising Western Apps for spying, assassinations currently in other countries.

It makes sense for governments of countries outside of the Western sphere to develop their own apps.
