Israels plan for Gazas future

Defense Minister Israel Katz said Monday that he has instructed the IDF to prepare a plan to establish a "humanitarian city" on the ruins of Rafah, which would eventually house the entire population of the Gaza Strip.

According to Katz, the plan involves moving 600,000 Palestinians, primarily from the al-Muwasi area, into the new zone after security screening. Once inside, residents would not be allowed to leave, the defense minister said.

Katz added that, if conditions permit, construction of the "city" would begin during the 60-day Israel-Hamas cease-fire currently under negotiation.

Im not interested in engaging with you personally as you have admitted directly and indirectly to having prejudiced views about Israelis and Jews and no empathy for them. I am interested in your spreading of misinformation though, not for your benefit but for the benefit of others reading. I note you don't wish to engage with me or others to correct that misinformation. That's your right, of course.

I’m sorry if you believe that anything I have written here is not true. Everything I have written i have either prefaced with it’s what I believe, or I have provided evidence for it. If it doesn’t sit well with what you believe, then I agree, there is no point in continuing to engage.

I think you're going down quite a few roads you shouldn't be. Might be best to step back and reflect on why you're unable/unwilling to take on information that doesn't fit your opinions.

Well that was one small part of a differing of opinion. But there was no proof, which I was been demanded to provide, and yet none was provided back. Two sides to a coin.

I mean, there absolutely was what a reasonable person would recognise as proof. And why do I suspect that your evidence standards aren't quite as high if it suits you to believe it?

Pro-Palestinians really absolutely REFUSE to even consider that the narrative they are pushing is not completely true.

Conversely pro-Israelis generally can agree that Israel has got things wrong, makes mistakes etc.

I have a great interest in human psychology and find this so interesting.

I'm not even particularly pro-Israel, at least in the context of how they've conducted the war and their apparent lack of interest in dealing with their own extremists, but I agree with you about this. And I do think a lot of pro-Palestinians ultimately either want Israel gone or don't care about Israel having any kind of safe future, and it comes out when you start to question them about anything more specific than 'Israel bad'.

Agreed. I'm not 'Pro-Israel' in terms of Netanyahu's government but the minute you question the Hamas narrative or suggest that conversation should be rooted in verfiable facts then you are practically Netanyahu himself. And the kool aid is very strong. Its actually really depressing.

We can all be pro children not being murdered.

We can unite on that.

Many more children murdered today. Including an unknown and unclaimed baby girl found dead on the roof of a car, after she was blown from a nearby building from a nearby building.

They don’t deserve this from any side.

Our silence and taxes support this.

I think on MN, we are absolutely united on that.

Which is why those of us who think this war should never have been deliberately started in the first place also think that Hamas and their supporters should surrender snd lay down arms immediately, and women and children should have been evacuated as soon as the war started like they are in every other war.

They should all stop now. All of them.
