Kneecap and now this.....There are some absolute fits playing at Glastonbury and I am sure there are some virtue signalling loons cheering this.

Hope turnpike throw the book at them.

Police review footage of chants led by Glastonbury acts

The government condemned chants from rap duo Bob Vylan which were streamed live and called for "death" to the Israeli military.

What are you talking about? Why is TR even relevant to this thread?

Do you understand that quotes are easily visible on a post? This isn’t the first time I’ve seen quite someone and act like their posts is utterly random and out of nowhere when there’s an obvious quote trail.
The person you are reply to didn’t bring Tommy Robinson into it. Look at the posts.

Pleaseshutthefuckup · 29/06/2025 22:25

@EasternStandard someone else brought TR into the discussion. Things aren't randomly said for no reason. There will be points raised and replies to points that you might be missing in the thread as it progresses.

No you alone know how mn works.

The TR stuff is a distraction.

‘Interesting - the right wing fascists who support Tommy fucking Robinson, are now standing in support of Jewish people.’

? what are you talking about. I didn’t see who you’re responding to, but I haven’t seen anyone supporting TR on this thread.

Also - if you’re going to feebly throw about serious accusations like ‘right wing fascists’ - please tell me how do you define ‘right wing’?

That radical Islam is a threat to the west

It absolutely is. Halal meat in work canteens is just the beginning.

Exactly it wasn’t a quote

This thread has taken a predictable turn. Hiding under the pretence of caring about antisemitism to spew their anti Islam they are all coming for us bollocks. Tommy Robinson loves a good march against antisemitism too.

Its hilarious people quaking in their boots about Islam when in the past few years the UK with their arms sales to Israel have facilited more deaths in the Middle East than these Islamists that you all say you are so afraid have facilitated in the UK. Do you not think that people in the Middle East are afraid of you and your money grubbing government putting profit before lives? 169million in arms sales to Israel in 3 months in 2025, how many kiddies has your government killed?

Bore off. I’m embarrassed for you, as would most Irish people be.

NiMaithLiomDeLuain · 29/06/2025 22:33

EsmaCannonball · 29/06/2025 22:18

And most conflict-related deaths in the Middle East in the last few years (or the last few decades for that matter) have not been caused by Israel. More people have been killed in Syria or Yemen than in all the wars fought by Israel combined.

Who said they were? What I said is the past few years the UK through their arms sales to Israel are responsible for more deaths in the Middle East than Islamists are responsible for in the UK. Killing Muslim kiddies for profit, reducing international law to nothing whilst whipping up a frenzy that Islam is out to get you.

If you scroll back you’ll see that is the case. Although it’s unclear who the poster who mentioned TR is referring to.

Stop it come on. I absolutely don't know the guy ffs. He's a truth teller. I know that. He might be a king sized knob at the same time. Who knows.

Whomever suggested I'm a right wing fascist - please explain how so........

I am agreeing with you! I meant more that the introduction of say halal meat in the work canteen is a very subtle insidious development, normalising halal.

mouthpipette · 29/06/2025 22:42

Christians, Muslims and Jews, but mostly Christians and Muslims had been fighting bloodily over Jerusalem for hundreds and hundreds of years. Living there happily is factually incorrect. @dairydebris

Yep and when the Crusaders came, in a number of places, Jews and Muslims fought together to repel them. Jews and Muslims together defended Jerusalem from the attacking Christians. ..

Absentmindedsmile · 29/06/2025 22:52

‘whipping up a frenzy that Islam is out to get you.’

You aren’t aware of Jihad then? Or the original Hamas Charter?

Pigeonpoohelp · 29/06/2025 22:08

Interesting - the right wing fascists who support Tommy fucking Robinson, are now standing in support of Jewish people. Why is that? I wonder if Jewish people want the support of Tommy Robinson and his supporters?

His real name is Steven Yaxly Lennion. Do your research.

2024onwardsandup · 29/06/2025 21:32

Does that make the threat of radical Islam any less?

I don't know, why did he fund them? Why support them? Why did he do that?

OpheliaWasntMad · 29/06/2025 23:50

“This thread has taken a predictable turn. Hiding under the pretence of caring about antisemitism to spew their anti Islam they are all coming for us bollocks. Tommy Robinson loves a good march against antisemitism too”

Sounds like a bit of classic projection going on there .
Pretty disgusting to be honest

Meant to tag in poster …

You need to do some reading about Iran’s support of terrorism and the role they’ve played in destabilising the Middle East.

In response to poster referencing the Islam out to get you threat. Well I'm not sure this is my pervasive feeling on that one.

Do I want to live anywhere or any place where an Islamic ideology dominates? Erm, no bloody way. Are some people living this experience atm. I believe so.

Is that a frenzy? I don't live in an area atm impacted immediately and directly by this. But I believe them, I believe they are living the negative effects of that. And I believe we have a wokery situation ( I don't know the correct term to use) that is significantly undermining this experience and the resultant unrest in response.

Are there other issues that are going to more directly impact me and my life right now? There very well may be. Should I focus on that? Maybe tomorrow I will. Does that make my observation inaccurate or a frenzy? No.

There are plenty of things I don't want in my sphere; that's simply one of them.

I'm waiting for a more detailed explanation of my categorisation as a right wing fascist anyway.

I am quite fascinated by the history of Iran and the significant changes when once Persia to now.

I always wonder what the pervasive feeling is for the people living there who experienced life ruled by the king of Persia before the monarchy was overthrown and an Islamic state created. And how does that compare to now. I appreciate that's too broad and complicated a question to ever quantify accurately.

Before that, there was a democratic government that was planning to nationalise the oil so the US (and possibly Britain) supported and funded a coup to overthrow this and installed the Shah.
When the Shah wasn't working out, various other dabblings of the US led to the current regime emerging.
This interference rarely goes well.

"Israel has been using force, often with justification, to get its own way since 1948, it's achieved what exactly?"

Their continued existence and not being wiped out maybe?

I did not fully appreciate this aspect regarding US involvement. So I just did a bit of reading based on your post. My immediate reaction in response to this is ' how fucking irritating to be the puppet of the US with the shit show fall out that might resultantly emerge'. I'm not saying Britain is any better either.

Isn't this what has kind of happened in Iraq / Afghanistan. Barge in with size 9 boots, don't really help, fuck off, leave a shit show behind. 🤷

Apologies to derail which I appreciate I'm doing. This is a fascinating and very insightful thread to engage in tbh.

A friend worked at Glastonbury & they said It’s a bit weird the feeds went out live- there are production teams on every stage and ample opportunity to edit bits out. Somebody will get fired, they thought
