Ultimately a lot of the objection to Kneecap is hand-wringing about Irish republican politics by people who have never experienced partition or occupation and have the privilege of endlessly pontificating about the 'right' way to rebel against it. Not sure why this is directed at me, I haven’t called for the death of the IDF, nor have I condoned the comment which no, it was not by Kneecap, and as far as this thread goes almost no one has said the comments were acceptable.

I will however feel like I have a right to be critical of many of the actions directed by the IDF.

Not once have I seen a comment about a problem with a Muslim person. Many I imagine are victims of the regime of barbarism and insanity, with little choice in that unfortunately. Probably mostly females and children in that camp.

Many things can be true at once. I believe that innocent people were hurt because they happened to be a Muslim. This is not ok.

It sounds like you’re saying violence against Jewish people is unjustified but violence against Muslims in the UK is justified by your claim that there is truth to the fear?

In January 60% of buildings in Gaza had been destroyed. I dread to think what the tally would be after the last few months. Even if we wildly assume no further damage its just objectively not true to claim it hadn’t been destroyed when they have less than half the infrastructure and buildings.
