I’m sure the IDF with investigate itself and find itself completely innocent of any wrongdoing.

  1. We didn’t do anything wrong
  2. It was a mistake. We are sorry about it and we will try and not repeat it again.
  3. They were terrorists.

one of them will be the answer

I’ve spoken about them in other threads. But I think they deserve their own thread as the outrage should be much bigger. Why is the world allowing this???

I think people are giving up. The new world order is do what you want and might is right.

dairydebris · 02/04/2025 19:49

When you say 'why does the world allow this' I wonder what you think the world should do?

happyhermione · 02/04/2025 19:53

Christ. This is just despicable. I mean, it’s really all despicable but this is truly gut wretchingly inhumane. That anyone would execute doctors who are risking their lives to save other. It’s the saddest article I’ve read for some time.

I agree with you it should get more coverage.

At the very least denounce it surely?? Personally I would sanction the hell out of Israel.

thatone · 02/04/2025 20:18

How utterly despicable. And yet they continue to keep getting away with endless abuses.

VaVaVaVaVroom · 02/04/2025 20:24

The Israeli army do investigate these things. They have dismissed personnel who have made errors and prosecuted those who have acted criminally. Obviously they have a process to follow and don’t just go with trial by TikTok.

Whatsinanamehey · 02/04/2025 20:24

Wtf?? This is barbarism. Why hasn't this had more coverage? Why are the IDF continuously attacking healtgh care staff, aid workers? Anyone who helps the Palestinians in Gaza.
I suppose it makes the bombing and killing more effective when you also kill the same people who help those who have been injured.

I have been reading about them for a while on twitter mainly when they had disappeared and they couldn’t contact them. It’s not until the last 2 days that MSM has picked this story.

They only did because a whistle-blower exposed them and it then went viral and they came under extreme pressure. There were still quite a few in the Israeli government who protested against the rapists arrests.

Sanction the crap out of them. The same as they do to other countries who commit war crimes.

Sanction and cut them off, why should we be allied with a country who shows such disregard to human life. They kill and kill a population which they have held under seige. Collective punishment of the entire population, it's abhorrent behaviour.

And they changed the charge to ‘Assault’ not rape.

The UN report on sexual abuse of Palestinians mentioned a lot more of the same in that prison too which has not been investigated and prosecuted.

bdot86 · 02/04/2025 20:45

Agree with you all. We need to stop selling arms to Israel. Legacy media must give these war crimes more coverage, and the BBC must stop referring to Palestinian children as “under 18s”. The dehumanisation makes me feel sick and quite frankly I’m seriously depressed by what’s been allowed to happen. Thank you all for speaking out.

It's deliberate. It's obvious that IDF wants there to be no way for the people they injure to get treatment.

And for the lack of coverage, can you imagine the outrage on the media if the victims were Israelis? The double standards are blatant. The lives of the Palestinians don't matter to a lot of people.

Martymcfly24 · 02/04/2025 21:13

They were shot from Close range, and an eye witness claims that they were tied up, hands and feet bound.
Then buried.

That is not warfare that is an execution.
And an action more suited to terrorists than a states army.

bdot86 · 02/04/2025 21:42

Exactly… mainstream media amplifies unverified stories that serve a pro-Israel narrative while downplaying or outright ignoring verified atrocities committed against Palestinians. The killing of the World Central Kitchen aid workers is another example—barely a fraction of the coverage compared to the fabricated “beheaded babies” story. The double standard is undeniable.

happyhermione · 02/04/2025 22:10

War crimes.

Martymcfly24 · 02/04/2025 22:22

Agree @bdot86 . Look at the reply Tammy Bruce US State Department Spokesperson when asked about the incident by a journalist.

As you said outright ignored the atrocity and absolves Israel of any blame for the execution.

BBC did give a really awful explanation as well

“You have, on the one hand these allegations that Israel has committed an apparent war crime.. but the Israeli military has been stressing these were vehicles it says were acting suspiciously and appeared to pose a direct threat to Israeli forces"”

Translation..

We don't know if it happened but if it did it was their own fault.

ScrollingLeaves · 02/04/2025 22:41

Haaretz has an article about this massacre:
Israelis Will Have to Look in the Mirror and See the Gaza Atrocities Committed in Our Name

Last paragraph:
Even though this government would like the war to continue forever, it will end someday. And on that day, the IDF and Israeli society as a whole will be forced to look in the mirror and deal with the knowledge that these atrocities were committed in our name.
