Standing up for Israel

Fizzadora · 07/02/2024 11:41

So, they have got to MN now too.
I just managed to read the previous post before it got deleted for being inflammatory. Not to me it wasn't but then I don't support terrorists.
Many, many people do stand for Israel and not for Hamas (and by definition their supporters; you know who you are).

I stand with the people of Palestine. I hope one day soon they will be free from the brutal Israeli occupation of their land.

Committing genocide in an apartheid-state for the last 75 years.

I stand with the Palestinians and anyone, obviously including Israelis, that wants peace.

Not so fun fact - There are actually more slaves today, than there were during the slave trade that you’re thinking about.

A clothing company started up and they said that they would have slaves nowhere in it’s supply chains a few years ago. It is so engrained in the system that they were not successful and changed their brand name to reflect that they were “mostly” slave free.

Wow! Carry on with your supremacist idea but I find it revolting.
How do measure "moral progress"?
Ideas are generated by people and, when put into practice, affect people. You cannot separate the two.

LittleGreenDragons · 07/02/2024 12:39

No, you can't backtrack from that. It was a disgusting comment to make, whether as a standalone or hidden in a bigger piece of text.

Awful. And it shows clearly what the Palestinians are up against.

Hi everyone,
On investigation, that poster has been previously banned. In future, please don't cut and paste posts to reply as it will simply result in your own posts being removed for repeating deleted posts, which is against guidelines.

Yes, exactly. With the UN’s international court of justice ordering Israel to ensure it does not commit genocide, thereby showing there is strong indication that the judges believe there is a credible risk to Palestinians under the genocide convention, the whole thing is just anti-Israel propaganda.

🙄

The pro terrorist/antisemitic propaganda on here has been absolutely sickening and shocking since Oct 7th.
**
I didn’t know much about the history of the region but from the research I have done, I firmly stand with Israel, as any one with any brain cells would.
**
I have often wondered if a Hamas/Iranian troll farm has infiltrated MN. Thread after thread all hysterically shouting ‘genocide’, ‘collective punishment’, ‘open air prison’.
**
Sadly some people are taken in by it.”

Such an ill-informed post.

MrsSkylerWhite · 07/02/2024 12:48

Suspect there are one or two other previously banned posters here too.

MrsSkylerWhite-IKR? It was an absolutely disgusting comment. I reported it as well. I'm glad it was deleted.

Me too. I hope that they will get banned again soon.

GingerbreadVanMan · 07/02/2024 12:50

Children drinking water from muddy puddles and the idf terrorists destroying water trucks??? So called “moral” citizens blockading aid entering where people are eating animal food, shame on them, may they burn in hell

10UsernamesNotAvailableTryAnotherOne · 07/02/2024 13:05

A friendly reminder to everyone that Israel is being taken to the ICJ and there was a nearly unanimous ruling that Israel committing genocide is 'plausible'. It is only a ruling of 'plausible', because this is a preliminary ruling. Israel is also being investigated by the ICC. It's not looking good for Israel. Genocide, war crimes, open air prison and collective punishment are not hysterically shouted buzz words on Mumsnet, but what human rights groups agree that are being inflicted on the Palestinians by the IDF.

Mercurial123 · 07/02/2024 14:38

I didn’t know much about the history of the region but from the research I have done, I firmly stand with Israel, as any one with any brain cells would.

You admit to knowing hardly anything about the history of the region, and your stance is lacking any critical thinking. Anyone with any brain cells certainly won't be agreeing with you.

Wishing one day the Palestinians get to live a life without walls and all Israeli citizens are safe.

BackandForthRoundandRound · 07/02/2024 15:13

Thousands and thousands of innocent people have lost their lives due to Israel's campaign against Palestinian people.

The entire population is starving and dying from entirely preventable causes. Young children are denied basic medicines which would save their lives and also basic pain medication so they are not in agony. (The same applies to men and women.)

Babies are dying through preventable causes. Doctors have been murdered and others taken away by Israeli soldiers (one recently released doctor has documented his captivity)

The so-called safe zones are being bombed and also raided by Israeli forces and civilians being taken away. Very disturbing images have surfaced of several mass graves. Bodies have been left to lie in the streets where they fell after being shot and have since been reduced to bones.

Animals are eating the dead. Snipers are deliberately targeting civilians inside a hospital. Also the church which was under seige at Christmas (of all times)

There is mountains of evidence proving what is happening as well as mountains of evidence proving what has been happening for all of these years. I hope that one day soon Palestine will be free of Israeli forces and will be safe without the constant state of fear they were living in prior to October also. I hope the same for the Westbank. I also hope that the remaining illegal settlers are removed and people can return back to their land.

(And before anyone attempts the usual I am not praising Hamas/anything else relating to that phrase, I am not against Jewish people etc etc)
