@EasterIssland that looks scary
Is that his real account or a parody account?

More evidence

How is that 'proof'?

That shell and bits off an ambulance could have come from anywhere.

Where does it say it's a M83081? I can't read the writing on it.

The M830A1 shell costs upwards of $4,000 each and has armour-piercing capabilities.

It is black with yellow markings.

They are usually used against armoured vehicles, helicopters and bunkers. To use one against an ambulance is really 'over-egging the pudding' - machine gun fire would do the job.

Another Hamas Propaganda Fail

Feel free to share the context and what meme he is parodying

It's not all about Gaza you know

ChickHenLittle · 12/02/2024 11:46

@EasterIssland@Parkingt111 It's to do with the Super Bowl, meant to be a joke but yes, quite weird! It's a reference to the Dark Brandon meme. A lot of people do seem to be wondering if his account was hacked, but it seems to be his team's way of keeping Biden current and edgy.

Edit: If I'm understanding it correctly (I may not!), it's a joke about Taylor Swift's boyfriend's team winning the Super Bowl, as she is planning to endorse Biden.

Edited

You're right it was about him "fixing" the Super Bowl

Nothing weird, in fact for Twitter it was quite tame

Always helpful if posters provide context for their screenshots. It wouldn't do to stir up outrage where there is no need, would it?

Parkingt111 · 12/02/2024 11:56

@ChickHenLittle ahh ok, thanks for the info. I initially thought it was to do with crytocurrency which I thought was quite strange from Biden

JC, I thought it was a joke parody account, but it is actually his real personal account (i.e not POTUS).

This feels like a very long episode of Black Mirror.

The IDF already have admitted to cases of misuse of heavy missiles in these attacks. So they already have form for what you have described. They have shown time and time again that their soldiers are often unprofessional, inexperienced and poorly supervised or directed and terrorising innocent civilians without consequence or impunity.

Joe Biden?

This pic was a meme already doing the rounds on social media for some time before he posted it. The meme used that image and was basically calling Joe Biden a war monger, etc. etc. I’ll try find it and post here.

It’s crazy to me that he’s thought it wise to post it to his account.

Februaryfeels · 12/02/2024 13:03

@Allourkids It's poking fun at MAGA muppets

Why get wound up and outraged about a meme.

It's not all about gaza outside this part of Mumsnet

Allourkids · 12/02/2024 13:11

@Februaryfeels Sure, but I’m not wound up and outraged at it. More exasperated - at the ineptitude, that I laughed when I saw it. It’s very poor judgement and timing - in the context of his support of Israel gov and attack on Gaza, and then IDF ordering evacuation of the people of Gaza into going to Rafah for safe refuge only to attack them indiscriminately.

EasterIssland · 12/02/2024 13:15

I apologise for bringing this pic to the thread. I didn’t know about the meme. All the comments in the post were calling him out for it

ConnieCounter · 12/02/2024 13:22

Considering that Israel was committing genocide on Rafah at the time, sponsored by Biden's government, lots of people found the tweet to be pathetic and in bad taste.

I do agree with that. There are comments in Twitter showing the pic of a child who has lost its legs after this attack whilst Biden was posting that pic.

No need to apologise. I meant JB
posting it to his account - not your post.

anotherlevel · 12/02/2024 13:43

The images I've seen coming out of Rafah are horrifying to put it mildly. A child hanging from a wall with their legs blown off. I won't post links to it as they are gruesome. I'm so angry and it's heartbreaking to see these. There is no justification for this. Absolutely none. And the fact that some will just see this as collateral damage during a war is disgusting.

In another post I saw, Israeli snipers targeted and shot a civilian seeking shelter in a hospital.

Is this ok?

EasterIssland · 12/02/2024 10:10

So rescuing 2 people justifies the killing of others ? Something that could have been achieved with an agreement with both parties?

Also,I seem not to be the only one feeling something is strange in all this , I’ve read comments that deny what idf are saying and that these 2 people were rescued the day before and not in Rafah

Just coming on to say the same thing, the hostages were not liberated from Rafah last night, they were being held in Khan Younis and were rescued there the day before. But very handy for Israel really wasn’t it, they could use them as an excuse to carpet bomb Rafah and kill and maim more children and babies. How disgusting.

And a mum and her 4 year old little boy. How can this happen with the world’s governments watching. It’s just sick that the IDF could actually do this to people. How do they sleep at night, or were they always this evil ?

I read about it in Twitter. Not verified source so unsure whether it’s true

the hostages have said they had been at a family home i believe in rafah.

i think people are suspicious that exactly this is happened when the rafah air strikes are starting. So that Israel can say “see this is why we have to bomb rafah so that we can rescue the hostages” It’s the second time that Israel rescues hostages and the first time the rescue thew a lot of doubts as well
