Each Saturday we are seeing demonstrations in London where people are marching with placards and calling for a ceasefire in the Hamas/Israel war.

However, it is difficult to know how the supporters of Palestine think this can be achieved? (Interestingly, no calls for Hamas to cease hostilities and return the hostages were heard - so is this really a call for unilateral disarmament?)

And who should Israel negotiate a ceasefire with? Hamas, ISIS, ISSP, The Muslim Brotherhood - all of these groups/any of these groups?

What is it the supporters of Palestine actually want?

Netanyahu refused the remains of deceased hostages in the previous exchange.

Thank you both for the two news sources about the ceasefire deal, both credible sources. It worth reading both because there are some important details added in the Guardian one about Netanyahu’s possible balking.

Yes, It appears everytime they're getting close to agreeing terms the goal posts are moved by netanyahu. Does feel like he doesn't want a ceasefire deal or is that pushed on releasing the hostages

Exactly. It’s all very one-sided on here. Where is the outrage for what happened on October 7th? About the women and girls who were raped, murdered, tortured and mutilated? About the children shot in their beds? The charred remains of babies found in ovens?

Probably you should verify what you’re saying whether it’s true before you request others to be outraged by it

There was plenty of outrage expressed multiple times about what happened on October 7th.
Where is the outrage? If that is a genuine question maybe go through the multiple threads and thousands of posts since then to read it.
Do you want us to continue exclaiming our outrage and horror on a daily basis for eternity or can we get on with discussing the current issues as they arise?

It was an outrage, but there were no babies on ovens.

The baby in the oven misinformation was particularly sadistic as that actually did happen, but to a Palestinian Baby during the Deir yassin massacre when the Nakba occurred in the 1940s. Trigger warning this article contains graphic details of atrocities committed against a family during the Nakba.

The similarities between some of the discredited accusations and the actual events of Deir Yassin are cruel in the extreme.

October 7th was horrific, one of the worst terrorist attacks this century. The stark facts of it are terrible enough. I hope those responsible for every life lost and every life changed forever are held accountable to the full extent of the law, and I have faith that, when it comes to the next life, there will be justice.

Absolutely, I felt sick when I read and viewed the testimonies of what occurred. The trauma caused to those who suffered, only an extremely sick mind would make something like that.
Similarly, I felt sick about the atrocities committed on the 7th October and those who executed it.
And yes! May of these monsters dead or alive be judged accordingly whether in this life or the next.
