The stripping and blindfolding of Palestinians is a well known tactic. It's nothing new, it's a form of humiliation.

The usual derailing tactics appear to be back, for some reason people are upset that we choose to highlight these atrocities by the IDF and appear not to want them to be aired. Try to stay on track everyone. :)

If they've done everything humanely possible to safeguard civilian lives then why are there thousands of them being indiscriminately killed? Please shed some light on the specifics on the actions they are taking. Because to me and everyone else, there isn't any and if there are, they're not working and it's for show.

Every thread on here that is pro Israel has posters "derailing" with pro-palestinian arguments and generally the views are debated and no one is accused of derailing.
Why here as soon as someone respectfully disagrees and debates the posts are they accused of derailing? In general, that's not how MN works.

no, what happens is that they’re generally slandered as anti- semites and then accused of derailing. That’s why I’ve mainly stopped posting on “pro-Israel” threads. I’m sick of the bullying and weaponisation of antisemitism to shut people up for pointing out Israeli war crimes.

I've not seen anyone accused of derailing for voicing their opinion on the subject matter. Can you direct me there?

You're wrong @untitledmum. I completely echo what @Desertrose2023 has said. We're accused of antisemitism if anyone says anything against the war crimes being committed by Israel. Posters have rude and bullying responses when you do post to debate. There are many many many pro Israeli threads on here this has happened on. Go and have a look.

Derailing from the topic is against mn guidelines. If you’re not happy in other threads please call them out or report those comments.

I'm very pro-Israel but I'm open to hearing the views of the other side. I'm curious and would like to be educated, which I have been.

No one is expecting you to change your stance but to debate on a post especially when some are factually incorrect is considered normal MN interaction

The US has said Israel needs to "bridge the gap" between its legitimate target and the number of civilians killed.

Im happy to debate and listen to other views. If you have a challenge or question that relates to the thread please feel free to share so we can discuss openly. I mean that genuinely.

@untitledmum would you please hilight the things that have been factually incorrect. As I am unaware of Any right now on this thread.

Also. Most of the posts that you describe as pro israelis coming on this thread to disagree and debate. They do not debate but either just say you are wrong. Or say but hamas, or say but Oct 7th.

Genuine debate and genuine arguments are always welcome.
