This was one of the things that horrified me, the denial and minimising of rapes. Reading the posts from women on here saying they didn't believe it because .......

Was awful.

It made be realise how naive that many are to what terrorists are like. Some seem to portray as misunderstood, and excuse what they have done and continue to do. If you popped many of these naive individuals in the middle of Gaza they might find out what Hamas are really like.

From that article; And rape is rape, even when perpetrated against someone you secretly don’t want to think of as a victim.

This can’t be said enough. Especially to all those that deny, minimise, deflect the rapes that happened.

To whoever said Hamas should not be described as "not human" - shame on you. I don't want to be counted as the same species as these creatures.

Unwra is unnecessary and perpetuates the refugee crisis. Out of 600,000 refugees originally it has created a fifth generation in the region of 5.7 million. This is unique to Palestinians. By 2060 there will be more 'Palestinian refugees' than Arabs.

It colludes with Hamas, let's them use buildings, misappropriates funds and needs to go.

It seems to be a money-siphoning exercise at the expense of actually building a normal life and country for the people living there.

This is a mini documentary, about 8 minutes long. It is about how children in the UNRWA refugee camps are indoctrinated at school. I wish they'd given it a different title though.

God knows how this whole mess is going to be resolved long-term. It looks like whole areas of Gaza need to be deradicalised.

Israel is in somewhat of a lose- lose situation at the moment. Does it allow Hamas to Continue to provoke eg yesterdays terror attack at the bus stop, not releasing hostages as required and stand back or does continue with the assault on Gaza?

I really think other Arab countries need to step in. Whether to take the women and children. Or put pressure on all the Terror groups in Gaza.

It's like people can't see beyond the IDF on here and yet what options are there? What would people have Israel do? Hamas have not stopped so what next?

It is honestly an impossible situation. You're dealing with a terrorist organisation embedded in the fundamental structure of an entire society. Attempt to deal with that and the optics are horrific. Don't deal with it and the security of the entire country is compromised.

What does irk me about some of the discussions, often said by those that insist October 7 didn't happen in a vacuum, is the way that they talk about the Israeli assault on Gaza implies exactly that. Almost as if there's no reason it's occuring other than bloodlust, and any suggestion of Hamas' presence is mocked and denied.

Late to the party, but I saw Owen Jones's risible commentary on the IDF's video screened in Westminster this morning, along with Lee Kern's line by line criticism of it. OJ's claims are despicable.

Some people will say or believe anything, to avoid accepting that Jewish people were victims of torture,violence and rape.

Did you see his crybully response where he claimed he was physically threatened (the pics-or-it-didn't-happen responses were of course inevitable), and his subsequent threat to sue? I'm not even sure who he was planning to sue.

Lee Kern went to Israel and saw the footage assembled by IDF that was recently shown in Westminster in an effort to prove that yes, these atrocities did happen. He wrote a blog about what that video contained.

There are no images or actual footage, but the descriptions of what he saw was harrowing.
This is the footage that Ownen Jones complained "showed no actual footage of women being rapes...no footage of babies and children being killed"

As Gaby Hinsliff says in her article today -
The film, compiled from security camera footage and terrorists’ GoPros, includes only material that survivors’ families have expressly consented to publishing – not everyone wants their child’s last moments made public – and the IDF says some scenes judged too distressing or intrusive were excluded.

It seems for Owen Jones and his friends, if they don't get to ghoulishly watch, it doesn't count.

I think it was posted on here the harrowing testimony from a man who was collecting the bodies of victims ? I had never heard of Zaka before that. This thread popped up on Twitter and I found it very interesting. What the purpose of Zaka is and how it came about. Those volunteers are amazing, I can't imagine doing that, especially that they also collect the body parts of the perpetrators for burial . I think I will make a donation

They jubilantly shout to their God in rapture as they killed. What God would want them.

Hamas, other terrorists and any civilians that joined in with the slaughter listed are parasites. They live parasitically off aid meant for civilian living, they don't contribute and they take, they slaughter, they torture and rape whilst shouting in praise of their God. Sick.
