Are we really just going to just let this happen. I was upset about the protest ban in France but at least he has finally spoken up. When is the UK going to finally say something and stop letting this happen in our name.

This Dr was at that hospital for 16 years, no evidence ever of Hamas wondering around and even if there was, even if!

So, they had an independent witness right there. Opposite the hospital. They knew where he was, no long wait for some UN official to turn up. But instead of inviting him in to witness the actions of the IDF they asked him to leave. That seems the actions of someone who wants to hide something.

There are miles of tunnels under Gaza. No doubt given the size of the hospital there will be a tunnel going somewhere from underground. Just like we have underground trains. Unless there is some connection to the hospital, access from hospital grounds, firearms, ‘command’ centre (a wall with a calendar?) this is just another Israeli gaslighting and the western world will nod along whilst the normal people can see this is wrong as clear as day.

But yes, let them plant some of those ridiculous firearms themselves and take a picture and that will be that. But HAMAS!

It's just so strange because his report was 3 days ago, so on Sunday, and on Sunday I was watching ITV news who had a neurosurgeon on the phone, Dr Marwan Abusada. He is the one who sent the pic of the babies on a bed to Mads Gilbert. He said that they could hear gunshots from outside the compound (it's a 22 acre site) but not within the hospital, that there was no firing in the hospital. And he also sounded very calm and relaxed, which is very strange given the situation you describe that snipers were aiming through hospital windows? And that nowhere else reported the IDF entering the actual compound until today?

Today, a BBC presenter said that Reuters said that the IDF were targeting people in the hospital including medical teams as well as Arab speakers.
What Reuters actually said was that the IDF had medical teams and Arab speakers accompanying them into the hospital.

The BBC has now apologised.

What has happened is bad enough, without people stirring up more hatred by reporting things that didn't even happen.
That is just irresponsible.

I assume they had their reasons, I mean it would be in their favour to allow that so there must be a good reason they didn't.

Examples: when they entered they could have been ambushed.

Then if he was injured in cross fire they would be criticised for the death of an independent reporter.

Maybe they know something about him that made him not the right person.

Maybe they don't want other people telling them how to do their job.

And it doesn't matter what evidence they provide, the haters will still say it was made up of planted. Even if he'd gone in with them, people would say they edited his footage or they had snuck in and planted the evidence beforehand or something.
