They know they can get away with anything.

I saw this yesterday. It broke my heart. Aside from the fact they’ve been beaten, tortured, held captive, now they are tagged with a number and released to find out whether they have any family left alive.

They sacked them from their jobs, detained them for 3 weeks and then forced them back into Gaza.

These men were thoroughly screened before being given permits to allow them to work in Israel.

The world watches on as says nothing as if this is normal or acceptable during times of war.

Dont the Israeli military realise what they are invoking

If this is as straightforward as it appears, not only is it morally wrong - which is the most important thing, it's a massive PR own goal for the IDF. What are they thinking?

They don't need to think, or be concerned. Everyone is letting them get away with whatever they want. The Stanford Prison Experiment on steroids. So is the thinking that these men left work went and contributed to the attacks then went back to work again or what? Because if these men were not Hamas fighters then I don't see why any of that matters?

If the Israeli authorities believe these Palestinians to be guilty of being active members of Hamas then arrest then instantly and throw the book at them - no one in the world will shed a tear.

@ssd The issue is not what is happening. The approval from all the western governments shows that what is happening is not an issue. The issue is that people are talking about what is happening. Nobody wants that. Nobody wants to hear/see anything that doesn't fit the narrative.

They are but they should not misrepresent a situation to stir up hatred which is exactly what the OP’s title to this thread does.

If Israelis don't believe the government can keep them safe and they're generally unpopular, appearing to take harsh action against enemies could be an attempt to appease.

Can you explain how they're doing this? I presume the op is wrong and that's why? Because they wouldn't be stirring up hatred by simply stating the facts. We're allowed to talk about facts.
