Support in the west is declining, and when Israel doesn't have weapons and defense funding they won't be able to defend against their neighbouring countries on their own. AIBU to wonder how much longer it can exist given they are losing support?

The fact is that hamas has good support in Gaza and elsewhere. They have thrived in Gaza. Where in Israel do you see glee at the death of civilian garzans and active street celebrations?

You honestly have an extremely poor understanding of international politics and American foreign policy. Is the genocide in Gaza an appalling human tragedy, yes. But that has absolutely fuck all to do with foreign policy. Are there a number of posturing politicians in every country in the world, absolutely. But that has fuck all to do with foreign policy.

Outside of a massive, massive shift in global powers, Israel isn't going anywhere. The Palestinian people are pawns used by rival powers in a massive power struggle. So, to a lesser extent, are the Israelis. You are right that Israel isn't viable without foreign intervention and military support. But it's of military strategic importance to those who give it.

I was just responding to the person who said all Israeli Arabs are actually Palestinians but they're all too scared to admit it. And that really isn't true. There are plenty of Israeli Arabs who aren't of Palestinian descent. I didn't like their implication that the term Israeli-Arab is offensive
