Support in the west is declining, and when Israel doesn't have weapons and defense funding they won't be able to defend against their neighbouring countries on their own. AIBU to wonder how much longer it can exist given they are losing support?

I never said Hamas were freedom fighters. I was just quoting. Think it's been taken out of context. Just for clarification, I consider Hamas to be terrorists.

It is legal to use white phosphorous for marking out enemy positions, for illumination and as a smoke screen. The Israelis have categorically denied using white phosphorous munitions in this conflict but using them is considered legal if they are being used against a legitimate military target. Obviously you won't believe the Israelis but what you have stated is simply wrong.

Israel has spent the last two weeks telling people in the north of Gaza to move south for their own safety. They have used text messages, phone calls, arabic social media, leaflet drops from the air. In response, Hamas has tried to prevent people moving south by putting up road blocks and threatening to shoot them. Why? Because the people of Gaza have no worth to Hamas other than as human shields.

Why have Israel told people to move South and then bombed the South? You say yourself they have made a lot of efforts to get people to move South, do you think they were luring them down there to make it easier to kill more people at once or what do you think the thinking behind it was?

Good question, I think this depends largely on which country succeeds the US. The US economy is lagging and China is looking to overtake them by 2050, so it’s most likely to be them. If China becomes the new master, things will likely look very different for Israel.

Israel has said it has continued to bomb military targets in the south. They haven't been secretive about that. What they have said to Gazan civilians is that the north is not safe

I don't have any other information so I can't speculate. There is certainly no evidence that Israel is attempting to lure Gazan civilians anywhere in order to make it easier to kill them.

But Israel literally told Palestinians to head south because they were going to target the north, and then they bombed the south where hundreds of thousands of people had fled to.

Why would they not have bombed the 'military targets' down south first and then asked civilians to move to the south if they were actually concerned about them? It makes little sense to tell everyone to move south to be safe(bearing in mind it is 1million people) then bomb the South. How were they expecting the bombs to dodge those million people that are crammed in on top of another million people? I mean at best it shows that there is actually no care there at all for civilians and at worst they are luring them to their death.

That's an outright falsehood. Israel is willingly bombing civilian areas and is perfectly aware that they are causing mainly civilian casualties. They either don't care, or are happy that it's happening.

There have been more than 3,000 Palestinian children killed by Israel, so far. That's more than double the total number of Israelis murdered by the Hamas raiders.

As I've said, I'd rather take the word of people who know what they're talking about, rather than someone emotionally invested in repeating propaganda.

Human Rights Watch - the organisation who raised concerns about white phosphorus - have said themselves they have no idea if it’s being used for legal purposes or otherwise.
